ZooWorld Zoological Park - Panama City Beach, Florida

This was our second visit to ZooWorld Zoological Park! We had to come back because last time, our daughter missed out on the sloth experience. This time, she finally got to do it and absolutely loved it! Our son did the gem mining and had a great time too, though we wish they provided a small bag for the gems like we've received at other places.

It was definitely busier this visit, and parking was a bit of a challenge—we circled the small lot about 15 times before realizing there was overflow parking. Hopefully, others can avoid that mistake!

All the animals seemed well cared for, and feeding the giraffes is always a highlight. The bird feeding, however, was a bit disappointing. While it's great that the birds are well-fed, they weren’t interested in the food sticks being sold, so many guests just tossed them aside, which wasn’t ideal.

Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable trip for our family, and we’re glad we returned!

This is my favorite kind of zoo. Very nice for the animals and people visiting. The animals have areas where they can go and get away when they want and enjoy shade as well as being out where the visitors are. A wide variety of animals that didn't seem to be stressed or anxious. Any animals that were safe to interact with were within reaching distance.

I had the most amazing time at this zoo! From the moment I arrived, it was clear this place stands out for all the right reasons. The interactive feeding experience was absolutely unforgettable—getting the chance to feed giraffes and birds up close was such a unique and thrilling adventure! The animals were all beautiful, and the enclosures were well-maintained, creating a wonderful environment for both the animals and visitors. What really made this place special, though, was the incredible staff. They were not only kind and welcoming but also super knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the animals and their care. This zoo offers so much more than just an ordinary visit—it’s an immersive and educational experience that I can’t recommend enough. If you're looking for a memorable day out surrounded by nature and amazing creatures, this is the place to be!

Such a great day at this zoo. Very nice facility. The staff was amazing and we learned so much. These animals are very loved and cared for. We held a baby kangaroo, fed Tony the giraffe, fed many deer, goats, etc. The birds were amazing. We highly recommend this great spot for all ages.

Enjoyed our time at ZooWorld. The animals were very engaging. We opted for the sloth experience and enjoyed every minute of it. We got there around 11:30. The wait was about 30 mins. We purchased tickets online, however it doesn’t give you the option to include the military discount. Only con, that I encountered.
Other than that, everything was great.

I love coming here and feeding Tony the giraffe and all the other animals that are allowed to be fed by the public. The gators are amazing to watch and get close to, there's about 70 right now! I also love the bird enclosure you can walk in and feed them. The birds are pretty brave and will come land on you 💜
There's a cute shop with toys, shirts, and drinks (soda, water, beer)

You will love this place!!! And, if you have children, they will enjoy it tremendously! This is definitely a place you don't want to miss out on whether you have kids or not. You are so close to the animals, and you get to pet many, too.

Great zoo. We did the capybara and sloth experience and it was wonderful! Feeding the birds was wild. The staff were help and knowledgeable!!! Money was well spent here!
