I had an amazing time at ZooTampa, and it truly stands out as one of the best zoo experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how well-maintained and expansive the zoo is. There’s something for everyone, from thrilling rides to water park-like areas that help you stay cool while exploring the exhibits.

The animals were incredible, and I loved how the zoo’s signage and layout made it easy to learn about each species while offering ample space for the animals to roam. It’s clear that the zoo prioritizes animal welfare while also making it easy for visitors to enjoy.

A unique bonus was getting to watch the National Geographic show on Disney+, which features the zoo. It made the in-person experience even more special, knowing that I was seeing the same amazing animals featured on the show.

ZooTampa is perfect for kids and families. You can bring water and small snacks (the food and drink selection is fun) The combination of interactive exhibits, fun rides, and educational opportunities makes it an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

ZooTampa at Lowry Park is a fantastic place for animal lovers and families, featuring well-maintained exhibits and a strong focus on conservation and education. The Manatee Critical Care Center is a highlight, offering a rare opportunity to see rescued manatees being rehabilitated, while Expedition Wild Africa and the Primate Realm showcase incredible animals like giraffes, rhinos, tigers, and orangutans. Spare at least three hours to explore fully, as there’s a lot to see, wear proper walking shoes since the zoo is large and requires a fair amount of walking, and carry a water bottle to stay hydrated in the Florida heat. The zoo is clean, well-organized, and provides plenty of shaded areas, making it comfortable even in warm weather. Wallaroo Station is a great spot for kids, featuring a petting zoo and a splash pad, while Stingray Bay allows for unique hands-on experiences. The staff is friendly, the food options are good, and the overall atmosphere makes for a perfect way to spend half a day in Tampa. Highly recommend!

We had a great day. The animals are taken good care of. We dont have kids but there was a lot to do for them. The park is not very big, and on the expensive side (49,95€) We enjoyed it though! Staff were really friendly. Park was super clean.

We had so much fun at this zoo. Perfect size with just the right amount of animals. The staff was very friendly and informative. The parking lot seemed crowded when we pulled in - if there were a lot of people we never would have known that in the park. The temperature was perfect but they had a good amount of mist showers to cool off in if it did get hot. We saved Australia til last because of the rides and play areas. Also the kiddos enjoyed the day more knowing they would be ending it in the splash area.

Very nice zoo! The grounds and animal displays are well kept up friendly staff. All animal exhibits close together so it is not a lot of walking at all. Also lots of benches to just sit and watch the animals in their exhibits. Cannot wait to go back and visit again.

Great experience was doing a promotion with Daiya at the zoo. The staff was extremely friendly. It's a nice size zoo that could take about 2 hours to get through the whole place. And right now they have a program going on where you buy your tickets for one day and get to come back free for the whole year. So that was really cool. The animals were all very active this day as well. Which is something that isn't always found at zoos. And all the cages actually had animals in them for what they were depicting. I'll definitely go back there again.

Went went when we were kids many years ago. Our Neighborhood zoo. This place is amazing, alot of animals packed in one place. Everywhere you turned, there was an animal. Brought my mother and Grandson (special needs) and they loved it. My mother was impressed with what they did to the park. Couldn't believe that this was practically in her own backyard. We were not able to finish the park. But we will be back. We got the year tickets. We will be back again. Awesome place.

We enjoyed bringing our granddaughter here she loved it. The manatee area is being worked on but you can still see them and the woman that provided us with information about the Manatee was extremely informative and nice. The only issue was the amount of places to get a drink or snacks that were not open, if we knew this we would have brought our own. If you do not allow food or drinks to be brought in then you should make sure you can provide. I would recommend the zoo for any age it's a great place to spend the day.
