This is a WONDERFUL gaming store run by friendly and welcoming people. A great space for table top gaming of all types as well as an excellent selection of table top games and supplies. I've ran several TTRPGs here in the last several weeks and cannot recommend it more highly!

A treasure of Ventura county. Xander's is a refuge for all things fantasy and geeky, a place where you can feel comfortable running a D&D campaign or play a baord game. The style and decor are awesome and I love going there with my daughter to play games. Check it out. You won't be disappointed. You'll love it!

Way too many games to choose from, but very helpful staff. A group of almost 10 of us showed up and we had fun just trying the games we knew we could learn quickly.

It was a nice spacious area, clean and clearly in the process of expanding and making themselves into an even better store area so I definitely think coming back here is in the cards if we manage to get another tournament running out here.

Had a really good experience here on Friday afternoon and Saturday evening. Diverse game collection to play from, Jeanne is very welcoming, happy to recommend games to newcomers or if you're unsure. They have pre-made, updated recommendation lists depending on what you're looking for. They have snacks, drinks, card games and board games for sale. Very clean and organized, $7 for all day play is a great value. Will happily return any time that I'm in the area, definitely wish I lived closer!!

Don’t recommend for brand new mtg players. Some egotistical veterans will discriminate against and target you to eliminate you first, despite clarifying you’re brand new multiple times. Left after one game. May try this place again in the future.

Since owner's question: the person in charge told us we couldn't move tables to accommodate (most tables were empty) and we were frowned upon when our kids asked questions or picked games to play. I believe we were respectful of the neighboring tables, equipment and games, so this was a bit weird. We did have a good time though!

My first time here was honestly quite pleasant. Great selection of games, dice, and good service to tie it all up.

Management is also open to interacting with their clients through the discord; answering questions and just active in the atmosphere of the store.

My only qualm is the accomodations. It can be... Challenging to sit on the seating for long periods which, with some of the games being played there, can be a little bit of a turn off.
