We were stuck on the hill with our boots on and full ski gear! The staff made us feel completely comfortable with "doing it the right way." Ski to the end, they said. Thank you so much!
The food was amazing! The spicy edemame was the best. Highly recommend Yama for sushi after an awesome day of skiing! Great location and very great service. We will be back!

I enjoyed everything about this place. We went to a very high rated, popular restaurant the night before and their sushi was a disappointment. We decided we wanted a re-do so stopped in at Yama the following evening. We walked into a busy dining room but were able to sit at the bar. The service was fantastic and the ladies helping us were personable and welcoming! The rolls were well made and tasted good.

This place was great! Located in the Vail village, it had a great atmosphere with great service. The food was amazing. It was definitely worth the visit. We tried the Miso soup, which was the best I’ve ever had, pork dumplings, California rolls, hammer head roll volcano style, and one other I can’t remember the name of. All were great!

We really enjoyed this restaurant. Got in at the last minute, no problems. The food was quite good and the service was great. The ambiance was also relaxing and dark but in a romantic sort of way. This was a great place to end the day and I highly recommend going here for a nice date night!

First off, the host was the star of our experience and made us comfortable as we waited for a table(we didn’t make reservation on Saturday early evening). Food is overpriced and portions are small but it’s not bad. We went and got pizza after 🥲

The atmosphere is beautiful. That’s where the positives end. Service was abysmal. We had to ask for everything twice and some things even three times. Server was sooo inattentive. For instance, we asked for the check and 10 minutes later asked for the check again. Instead of bringing us the check, she started to clear our table. To the point it took like 5 minutes while we sat there watching here wanting our check. We could’ve been gone and she could’ve cleaned without us having to be a part of it. As she started cleaning, I actually asked for the check a 3rd time and she said “when I’m done cleaning your table”. That in a nutshell is how the service went. And as far as the food is concerned, it’s small, overpriced and mediocre. This is a great place to go if you want to spend a lot of money, get horrendous service and leave hungry.

Pretty basic sushi in a very loud club like atmosphere with thumping music that made it hard to converse. super dark inside as well. even as a millennial i was using my phone to read the menu. the summer vail roll was very good and the highlight. nigiri was just ok.
