The worst internet service I've ever had the misfortune of being forced to have. The apartment complex I live at currently is only serviced by WOW because internet companies have monopolies.

I've had this service since December of 2022. The last year and a half of it has been awful. Back in August, we went about 10 days total with no service. The first time I call was on day 3 or so and I was told there was an outage. The service didn't come back so I called again a couple days later and had them do a signal reset. Didn't work. Unplugged the power cord, plug it back in. Didn't work. Unscrew the cable in the back and unplug the power cord. After the third time of unplugging and plugging stuff back in and disconnecting/reconnecting every device, it worked.... Until the next day.

Finally after another call I was told that my modem was out of date and they'd need to send me a new one as well as a tech to test the internet lines. How was I supposed know it was out of date Whatever, let get this scheduled. We get it scheduled, I set up the new router and the tech shows up.

Tech was great, very nice and professional. He brought a backup better motem and set it up, replaced the Y cable in our box and we had working service again..... For a few weeks.

Service consistently stops everyday. We unplug the power, wait, plug it back in. Doesn't work. We unplug everything, wait, plug it back in. Doesn't work. We call and get a signal reset. Doesn't work. Disconnect all devices and reconnect. Doesn't work.

Out of 4 different internet companies that I've use in my adult life, this one is the worst in terms of service.

Hidden Fees and Over Charges included in every single bill. The system they use is out dated and extremely flawed. Do not purchase this service unless you absolutely have to. The upload speed is less than 5MBPS and they claim its 20MBPS. False.

I should have read the reviews before I switched! Terrible customer service! I had an appointment for technical support from 8 to 11. Nobody ever showed up. I called technical support around 2 pm and was told that they would be there by 4 pm. Again no one showed up. I called again that afternoon and after being kept on hold over 30 minutes, I was told that the technician had come earlier that day and no one was home, which was a total lie since I was home all day and I have a ring camera and nobody ever came. Needless to say, I will be changing my internet service provider. Any suggestions?

If I could give a zero star, I would , I’ve had this service going on 8 1/2 years I believe and it’s contracted for the property that I live at so that’s all we can have so I have no choice but to deal with how terrible and poor their services are. my modem drops the signal And picks it up whenever it wants to so there’s times that it’s out for days and then there’s times that it’s out for hours at a time and their cable is like $250 so I’m not paying that amount so all I pay for is Wi-Fi Internet usage And I can’t even get that and I’m paying every month to not be able to use it. you call wow and they act like there’s no issues in your area or anything going on and techs come out and will replace your modem and that doesn’t fix anything because it’s their service and their lines. Their speeds all of it terrible. I don’t recommend this company to anyone whatsoever I even did the referral friend program and I waited over a year to get my hundred dollars for the referral friend so none of it is worth it. I won’t refer anybody else ever And the people that are on the phone for technical support. They’re all terrible. They could give a damn less about what your issues are and they’re quick to try to push you off the phone at any given chance saying they’ll call you back or they’ll get back with you or a supervisor will call you back. no one calls you back. This company has a zero out of five rating for me because I could never ever wanna give you a star, unfortunately to leave a review I have to give you one so you’re welcome. Sincerely angry dissatisfied customer!! Also, if you don’t believe me, go ahead and get their service and find out how terrible it is for yourself. PS just this month I’ve had them send out four refresh signals, a modem reset, changed out all the wires in my apartment. Do the modem switch out twice and had another tech come out here to see what the issue is with my speeds and Still to this day it doesn’t work so if anyone’s looking to get any type of service, this is a true authentic review so do what you wish with it but I’m highly disappointed in their lack of understanding and also I’ve told them that many neighbors have the same issue but that went in one ear and out the other, so if you live near my area on the east end of Panama City Beach and have the same issue just know that they will never admit to it being an outside issue with any major lines or care to find out where the true problem is coming from as long as you’re still paying and you’re still there, that’s all they care about They won’t even comp your account for all the amount of time that you have not had service even though their system shows when your modems go off-line. That’s all I have to say and I’m sure I’ll get a computer response trying to apologize for any issues I’m having so don’t waste your time Wow, and I know why your company chose that name , because WOW is all we can say about your company and not in a good tone or in a positive way.

We had a Tech come out to our house today to help us remove cable and put UTube streaming on in place of cable. His name was Ethan Clements . He was the most helpful, patient , personable person to give customer service to my Husband and I in a long time. I believe in giving praise when warranted and I’d say he WOWED US ! Thanks again Ethan

Been an internet customer for 2 years. Lost connection for streaming in my bedroom, tried all their recommendations.. still not connecting.. made appointment and sat here for 3 hours.. front door wide open with screen door..at one point I saw an unmarked pickup in front of my neighbors house.. never came to my door.When I called wow the best they could do was 4 days later.. what poor unprofessional service. Evidently my time doesn’t matter wasting 3 hours on Saturday morning .. my address is clearly displayed on my house and the technician never called or texted me ..what a joke

You guys are HORRIBLE!!! You’re stealing from us!!! We pay our bill on time and you don’t provide the service that we pay for. Here in America, that’s called stealing. Our internet is down and has to be reset EVERY single day! We can’t even get any decent tech support because they barely speak English. Going to report your criminal enterprise to the FCC.

I am not too happy with Wow. They should have warned that the 1Gig speed was for a wired connection. The good thing is that their internet hasn't failed lately. However, one expects their advertising to be truthful. José, the employee who took my complaint, was nice, kind, and knowledgeable of his job.
