This is a great fit if you’re looking for something stylish and lively, but not great if you want to really feel comfortable and rejuvenated. Not much different from most hotels as far as comfort. I didn’t feel especially comfortable, and didn’t feel rested while staying there, and each consecutive night I felt more and more drained and on edge. I’ve had better experiences with Airbnb’s that were a fraction of the price.||Pros: |1) Meticulously clean & well- maintained (except for carpet in room - carpet is just gross even if it is cleaned) |2) Exceptional staff for the most part - the staff really was great, I just want to emphasize that. |3) Furnishings and room all new and in excellent condition |4) Received room service & my car in a timely manner each time.||Cons:|1) Window DO NOT open. And this is a huge one for me. I will not stay in a room that is sealed up and never gets aired out. I don’t care how clean the room is, it still feels dirty and extremely uncomfortable to be in a sealed, enclosed box.||I booked a room with a balcony, because those have a door that can be propped open to get some air, but you have to ask the front desk for a special door stop to hold it open. Even so, the bedroom is in the back and the windows are sealed shut so the air can’t flow all the way through, and the bedroom felt uncomfortable to be in. ||2) The balcony rooms face the courtyard which is where the restaurant is, so in the evening it’s very noisy. They also play techno music in the restaurant. So I would come back in the evening and open my door to air out the room and sit on my balcony and order room service and try to get a little bit of peace, but after awhile that techno music started to grate on my be nerves so badly, I had to go inside and shut the door. ||3) The breakfast was not great and cost $60 each time (including room service fee and tip) While dinner at Lola 41 was excellent, the breakfast was like diner food. Was it edible? Sure. But for $60 i expect it to be one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. It was barely lukewarm two days in a row. The breakfast potatoes were bland and dry. They do make a pretty decent cappuccino though.

Love love love this hotel! The property is really well done but the staff is what keeps me and my family coming back. From valet to room service everyone is super nice and always down to help.
Nelly has always been so pleasant and goes above and beyond. šŸ’–
They are kid friendly, have toys and even set up the cutest little teepee for my baby boy.
We’ll always stay here when in Palm Beach.

After a busy week in Florida arrived at the White Elephant for some relaxation. And it’s certainly a fine place to relax.

A boutique hotel with beautiful presentation. Appreciated the clean brightness of the rooms and common areas. Dotted with artwork for splashes of colour.

Enjoyed our afternoon drinks with nibbles. A nice touch and opportunity to cool down after a busy day doing the tourist stuff!

Room was of great size. Clean and well stocked. The lighting options helped the relaxed vibe.

Wife enjoyed the pool until the afternoon rain arrived!

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Polite and helpful. Valet service included.

We had a great stay at the White Elephant Hotel. The interior design was beautiful, and the service was excellent. The bed was so comfortable that I slept very well for two nights. They provided great amenities for daily use, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I loved almost everything about our stay! However, the mini-fridge could use some improvement; it didn’t work very well and had a lot of water inside when I opened the door. Adjusting the temperature didn’t help. Additionally, the pool was too small for all the guests. We only stayed in the pool for 15 minutes because more people kept coming. Despite these issues, it’s great for short-term stays, and the location is very convenient. We will definitely be back.

We had an excellent stay at White Elephant Palm Beach. The service was unmatched and very accommodating. The front desk staff upgraded our room because of an issue with our original room without question and even moved and put away all of our items in the new room. The car service was also very convenient and easy to use. The room itself was updated and comfortable. Plus, Lola 41 is delicious! They made our first stay in Palm Beach a memorable one and we will be back.

I booked a stay at this hotel over a month in advance to attend a Christmas party at Mar-a-Lago. However, I decided to cancel my reservation within the cancellation policy timeframe and stay with friends instead. I received a cancellation confirmation email from Expedia stating: "White Elephant Palm Beach will refund you."

Two weeks later, I noticed my card had not been credited. I called the hotel and spoke with Dylan at the front desk to inquire about the issue. He claimed I hadn’t canceled in time. I promptly forwarded him the emails proving otherwise, including confirmation of my timely cancellation. Despite this, Dylan suggested I call back the next morning to speak with someone else about the matter.

Can you believe this? Not only did they fail to process my $1,800 refund as promised, but even after I took the time to prove their error, they expect me to follow up again. I run a busy practice and don’t have time to chase down high-end hotels for their mistakes.

Dylan, this is not how exemplary customer service is handled. I’m appalled by this experience.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

The hotel restaurant is Lola 41 on the same property.
Anthony the manager was verbally and aggressively abusive, displaying extreme a level of professional immaturity, the likes of which I have NEVER encountered at anywhere in Palm Beach. Not only does he lack the skills to handle a challenging situation but he presents himself to be of a ā€œwokeā€mindset with tremendous resentment toward anyone he perceives to be of wealth, higher education and/or privilege which is the majority of palm beach residents.
A drunk man walked over from the bar and literally crashed on our table. Not only did everything from the table fall to the floor with breaking glass everywhere, but the leg of the table destabilized causing the table top to bend down and slam onto my knee which was underneath the table. The servers were focused helping the drunken guest get up, completely ignoring my requests for a manager regarding my knee which was in pain. After my 5th request, Anthony showed up very defensive and belligerent. I wanted a record of the incident and his contact information due to my knee pain. Not only did Anthony never apologize to us, he refused to give me his name (which I only learned of later) or his business card. He then tried to falsely claim, without any medical knowledge, that the drunk had a stroke but it was obvious that the guest had too much alcohol. He actually admitted that he was more concerned for the drunk who crashed our table. When I attempted to video the damaged table, he forcefully held the fallen table top up with his hand and tried to block me from taking images of the damage. He then proceeded to shout and tell us to leave and never come back. I had to threaten to call the police to get Anthony to settle down.
My friend who was present as a witness and is a litigation attorney pointed out that management was trying to cover up the restaurant’s incompetence with regards to this incident as the motive for Anthony’s aggressive and unprofessional behavior towards us. At some point, the owner showed up and offered to get our check. Since they had already ran our credit card through before the drunken guest landed on our table, we had to ask Anthony to reverse the charges. Anthony’s once again ā€œwokeā€ and immature response was ā€œSo you want a free meal!ā€
The hotel ownership is completely out of touch with what is going on at the managerial level. Anthony is not the appropriate caliber of person to be representing a restaurant in palm beach. His skills and attitude are much more suitable for a position at McDonalds. Anthony’s unprofessional conduct is in stark contrast to the quality of service here over the last 4 years. Only a handful of higher-end restaurants in palm beach are able to maintain high standards as the years pass. It is often just a matter of time before most of them deteriorate in their reputation often due to their hiring of staff like Anthony.

Fabulous stay at the White Elephant!! I recently stayed 4 days. The whole experience was great. My room (king suite) was spacious and comfortable. The hotel provides rides to the beach where they will set up an umbrella and chair for you. They also have bikes. They will drive you anywhere within a 2 mile range and pick you up. There is wine and cheese every night, also great. The restaurant on sight- Lola 41 was delicious. The location is fabulous. 3 minute walk to the plaza for shopping, 2 blocks to the beach and less than a half a mile to the Breakers. Shout out to the front desk staff- especially Colton. The recommendations for restaurants/drinks were spot on.
