Walmart neighborhood market.
It's so convenient to shop at. I can always enter the store, find just what I need and check out with no problems. The employees are very courteous, in the store it's always stocked very well with products that I need. Great for quick shopping or full shopping, for all you need. Happy holidays to everyone!

Since Walmart opened the neighborhood market in Elk Grove. I visit the store every week, not because of their service or the hit and miss inventory. It is because of the lower prices and location.

I don’t find many services at this Walmart Neighborhood Market beside the checkout counter if you’re looking for one with a cashier. Sometimes, I might see a couple of employees doing the restocking. But I understand this is one of the reasons why they can offer the lowest prices.

Not all the items I wanted were available all the time. Some are available, and some aren’t! But the items available are always cheaper than the other stores.

The parking lot is jam packed at this location. Hard to find parking sometimes!

I needed something that was locked up and I pushed the button for help like 5 times and waited over 10 min. Nobody came to help. The store was not busy, it was abt 10 pm. I finally got sick of waiting and said forget it, and as I walked up to the self service registers I see there were 6 employees just standing around doing nothing!! Err. Everyone says, we don't have the key! Better procedures needed!!

I've never encountered an issue with this neighborhood market. I wish there were more of these neighborhood markets close to my home. I always forget there's also a Walmart store in the parking lot that does not sell food. Those are very few in between but the convenience of having a Walmart Neighborhood Market in a Walmart in the parking lot or pretty cool. Less crowding, especially when you're not looking for food. I have no bad grapes with this. I wish the parking lot was much better, but that has nothing to do with walmart.

This place was great. I normally goto Savemart but lately they’ve been selling expired and expensive stuff and I missed it so decided to finally try this Walmart Market. I got there right at open to make sure I could wonder without getting in peoples way who know the store. The employees were all polite and said hi, shelves were stocked.. awesome. The prices were the most surprising part, stuff cheaper than most anywhere else except for the sodas. I like how they had a few isles of legit cleaning supplies and febreeze scent things so I restocked on that too.

I think I’ll start going here and just do the early morning thing cause I left with way more then I would have at the other store I mentioned and it was a good deal less. It’s a full on grocery store, and the vegis/fruit was nicer than I’m used to, but maybe a little less variety in tomatoes I noticed that.

Anyways, great store from my first experience and even during checkout I liked how the little screen showed my current price with each item scanned. The lady working checkout was very polite and bagged way better than I normally do and she was quick. No complaints, if you’re close I’d give it a look and bet you’ll like it. I haven’t gone in the rush of the day but it’s big and I think that would be fine, I just personally avoid big crowds of people. Hope this helps.

The associates are helpless, especially on the self check out. The prices are not matching when you scan them.
I was buying the vitamin D drops for kids, the posting price is $11.97 but when you scan it it will pop up $18.87. I don’t know that Walmart are reviewing this but if so this happened to me at Walmart Neighborhood Elk Grove, at self check out around 2pm on 11/02/2024.

You want to know why you have no money partly because you shop here. When to get 2 pounds of burgers meat. Cost 17.98 😵‍💫 I just bout the same thing from winco a week ago for 8 something. Don't get me wrong that is terrible price but why better then 17.98. Good god walmart is literally robing people!!!

Walmart app Scan and Go makes normal checkouts quicker.
Plus, it's really great at Sam's Club.
