Vi at Lakeside Village - Lantana, Florida

So far this place has out performed any adult living facility in New Jersey.
My brother and I needed to visit a few prior to making this place our choice for my mom.
Being from New Jersey I had arrived here in PBI, for my niece's baby shower, with my 75 yr old mom.
Who, ended up having multiple seizures the following day.
She became unresponsive, which led us to call 911 with a quick response time, 7 EMTs show up, and local police. Swiftly they take mom to Wellington hospital. 2 weeks later she is now admitted here, and way to recovery.
I am impressed with the cleanliness of this place.

We are moving in officially in one week. However, we have been at Vi almost every day for the last two weeks. The staff is delightful, always upbeat, smiling, and truly glad to see you! Residents are warm and friendly and welcoming. Lots to do, very attractive campus, good food, indoor pool, game rooms, happy hour, pets allowed! WOW! A great place for seniors!!!

Living at Vi created a new world for us to live our senior life. We have our own apartment to give us privacy when desired. We can open our apartment door to enter hallways to walk and enjoy lovely art work and be greeted by other residents, residents that are friends and guides from day one.

They guided us to a small coffee room, dining areas, and card rooms to play games of many variations. We also use the Vi library which has a great selection of books, and the Vi lobby in which we meet other residents and/or greet our guests.

Activities range from regular Saturday night entertainment to walks for Alzheimer, Turkey Trot, or a delightful boat ride around Lake Osborne. Our exercise program is the best for strength, balance, Tai Chi, or chair yoga.

Finally, especially for us, there are the grounds surrounding the building. We enjoy walking beside the lakes and canals and follow roads that lead to acres of open fields and woods.

Living here is actually much more lovely, than we expected, knowing Vi for about 20 years, since our mom lived here too.

I really enjoy moving to the Vi. The people are so warm, and friendly. I find the surrounding comfortable. New people are moving to the community daily which is wonderful. They come from diverse backgrounds which make for a great community. The activities are entertaining. I enjoy the lectures. And the food is very good and diverse. I would recommend this community to friends.

After looking at every place between Boca and Palm Beach my daughter and we decided that I should be at Vi. We think the staff and the guests are tied for being the friendliest people. Shantelle and her staff have bent over backwards and forwards with happy smiles to show me what I can expect when I move in. I'm counting the days. Thanks ladies. You're the best.

I am familiar with many of the rehab/adult care facilities in the South Florida Boynton Beach/Boca/Del Ray area. Without question, the care at Vi at Lakeside Village is the best we've encountered. The staff is incredibly professional, wonderful and so proactive and on top of things. At all levels, everyone at Vi goes above and beyond in taking care of my parents.
The management team is friendly and very organized. There is a plan for a each patient and a system and process involved and the communication with me about the health of my parents is excellent.
The facility is impeccably maintained and very easy to visit. The vibe is quiet and peaceful.
There are pleasant outdoor areas to sit and visit with your parents. I actually look forward to visiting them regularly.
There are social activities and fun snacks regularly planned for patients and there is a really good energy about the place which is so important and conducive to healing.
The food is great too and that is not a given in many places of this type (it is seriously bad in many places.) Besides the obvious health benefits of good nutrition, it just keeps everyone in a good mood.
I highly recommend Vi at Lakeside. I am relieved that my parents are there because I have trust in the staff that they are safe and getting the best treatment. Five stars !

I came to visit my aunt who lives here, and from the first moment I fell in love with everything, neat, clean, breathtakingly beautiful, the staff is simply special and loving, and does everything with love and with love, everyone smiles pleasantly, greets you with a smile, always ready to help, I was happy to know that my aunt lives In such a loving and warm place, the service is first class, and everything is great, excellent security, cleanliness. I've got no words. I thank God that my aunt is in good hands.

Vi at lakeside village has more amenities than any other continuing care retirement community I considered in palm beach county. I was happily surprised that vi at lakeside is spread out on over 40 well maintained acres. Vi is not just 1 building, and it is not on a noisy thoroughfare, as are many of the competitors.
