It's been a week since our wedding with Twin Spin Entertainment and we have to say they did not disappoint. After speaking with Young, he made us feel very comfortable in planning our wedding, as well as gave his wisdom and insight to weddings, which really helped. He was also very accommodating with all of our requests. Furthermore, after talking and getting to know who Young is and what motivates him, we felt that he was a very genuine person that wants to create a wonderful experience for all of his customers. During the wedding, the music, the MCing and the dance floor was very much to our liking. Young brought the energy to our attendees and made the environment lively and interactive. Can't thank him and his crew enough on how they did on our wedding. 100% recommended!

My husband and I hired Twin Spin Entertainment to DJ and MC our wedding last month. We did not have the opportunity to work with Young, but we had DJ TN (Thien) who did a great job!

The process is really organized. You reach out to them to inquire whether they have availability and then Young will match you with a DJ. You set up an appointment to meet your DJ to see if you feel like you are a match. They have a website with a client portal where you can fill in all sorts of details, which you will go over the week before your wedding.

DJ TN helped us stay on track and made announcements to our guests as needed throughout the night. We felt like he understood our needs and he was really helpful during our planning process before the wedding as well.

We recently had our wedding and decided to hire Twin Spin Entertainment, which came recommended by our venue. While the owner, Young, was already booked, he introduced us to James, one of his experienced DJs. Our initial meeting with James went smoothly, and we felt confident moving forward with him and Twin Spin.

The booking process was straightforward and easily managed through their website's client portal. The client portal also had very thorough questions such as laying out the specific songs for our ceremony, grand entrance, and first dance, etc. The client portal was also how we communicated which songs were on our do-not-play list, ceremony, dinner, and dancing.
James arrived early to have everything set up and by the time our ceremony rolled around everything and everyone was ready to go.

James did a great job both as an MC and DJ. While there were a couple of minor hiccups with timeline and announcements, he handled them well, keeping the flow of the event smooth. Since we had a lot of our older Asian guests, the dance floor wasn’t always packed, but we appreciated how James kept the energy up and mixed the music to appeal to everyone.

The sound quality was great, and there were no major technical issues. All the microphones, speakers, and lights worked perfectly. Overall, we were very happy with Twin Spin and James, and we would definitely recommend them for any wedding or special event!

Photobooth 4.5/5

We knew we wanted to have a photobooth in our August 2024 wedding as it’s always a fun activity having attended previous weddings. Twin Spin offered this option along with their DJ services, and we selected them knowing that it would streamline and alleviate working with multiple vendors. We found their pricing reasonable after comparing other photobooth vendors.

On the day of our wedding, the photobooth attendant came early to setup. She wrapped up early and our start and end time was 6-10pm which was a bit early than the original 6:30-10:30pm time. Overall the attendant was cordial and assisted our guests during use. There were slight miscommunications regarding meal and setup time, but otherwise our expectations were met. Twin Spin was able to explain and clarify this miscommunication and we provided feedback for communication for future clients.

The photos turned out well, and we hope our guests took advantage of the service. The only feedback we received from our guests was that setup time was a bit slow, which we learned that it was the attendant’s first time setting up. Our vendor had good communication and responded quickly regarding our photobooth selection and receiving the photos.

Young Cho (DJ Twin Spin) is THE BEST DJ and EMCEE EVER! Hiring Young as your DJ was 100% worth it. He made my wedding fun, engaging, and just went above and beyond with his service. When I first reached out to him, I was so glad he gave me a call to thoroughly go through what I would get if I were to book him and he emphasized on quality. That was exactly what we received and it's something no one should skip out on for their wedding.

Not to mention, I hired Young last minute (5 days before my wedding) as my original DJ bailed. This was such a blessing in disguise because out of all DJs I have experienced at other weddings, Young is by far the best. We also had an in-depth video call on how the day would go and pointed out all the things I wanted. He is organized, attentive, professional, and trustworthy.

In my honest opinion, you don't have to look further for any other DJ if you want a memorable wedding night.

Superb experience! Wow, working with DJ Young was such a pleasure. He did a phenomenal job, not just DJ-ing but being an MC throughout the whole wedding evening. He brought a fun, chill, engaging attitude, and several friends of mine have already asked for his contact info for future events. Highly recommend! 🙂

We got married at Casa Bella and due to the venue had limited options. We ended up booking Young to do our wedding due to his experience.

He was great at responding to emails but when it came closer to the wedding, it wasn't as great of an experience.

When it came to his final meeting, his portal didn't have exactly what we had going on and when we met with him he seemed to rush the call and respond with "yeah I know what you're talking about" and moved on when we tried to explain. It just felt like we were a box he needed to check off.

Day of, when he arrived it almost seemed I was in his way. Like when I was doing photos and walking through the door, he was trying to get in, I didn't even get an excuse me or personable experience with him.

Then day of, our officiant didn't have the best interaction with Young and his son (his son who was his assistant?). He approached our officiant claiming he had been looking all over for him and he was in the ceremony site the whole time. Then when it came to our ceremony, the music was sloppy. He didn't queue my (the brides) walk in correctly, I gave him the start time and it sounded like he started the music then jumped to the time. Way sloppy for a professional.

Then, when it came to bridal party entrances, the music again was sloppy. Points weren't started where we asked, delay in music after announcing groups. We even had a few guests share they thought it was sloppy.

Lastly, my bridesmaid had an extremely poor interaction. She requested a song saying it was my (the brides) favorite song and she shared Young was stand off ish and was like I'll see if I can with the vibe. WHO
CARED ABOUT THE VIBE, ITS THE BRIDE AND GROOMS DAY!

It took a second bridesmaid who had to CONVINCE him to play a song for the bride. This made me so mad to hear! You're in the service industry, my bridesmaids weren't jerks about it but he seemed to fight their requests.

Overall, he was ok. Not a personable person despite being in the wedding industry.

My husband is super into music and this was important. It sucks that the queues were delayed and we had guests that didn't have th best experience. You would think with the amount of money a dj and emcee cost, timing would be perfect, but nope we had issue after issue 🙁

Wow one of the best DJs I have danced to a party. My family participated in the outdoor holiday party in Menlo Park and he entertained the crowd, old and young, for hours. My small kids had a blast dancing to his tunes

Young of DJ Twin Spin was fantastic! Great emcee and DJ who brought the energy to our wedding! Communication throughout the process was smooth and super easy - he also gave us solid advice for music selections and for keeping the energy on the dance floor during the wedding reception.

On top of that, we also worked with Twin Spin's photobooth team who were also super friendly and great to work with! Our guests and ourselves loved how our photobooth pictures turned out!

Definitely recommend if you need a reliable and easygoing DJ who will bring the party! 🙂
