We have stayed at several places on the Gulf side of Florida. First at $350 + a night our room did not on par. The refrigerator did not make ice. We had to put milk, water, drinks in the freezer to get them cold. Then when informed management on duty, it was and? look. Refrigerator not fixed. Next it was a cold room, at 65 degree. Tried to get heat - furnace did not work. So we snuggled to keep warm. Snuggling is not a complaint- no heat is. Cleanness was a issue as off mold-musty oder was prevalent walking into room. Blind shades held together by zip ties. Very small bathroom, no area to put on makeup. Very dated !! |Bottom line would not recommend staying here. As we will not be staying here next trip to Florida Gulf side. The view was top notch - but not worth everything to go through.

What a cute place! As you can read from the other reviews this place is a little dated but it holds Florida charm! My unit was clean and stocked appropriately. I was woken up multiple times during the night due to either bad plumbing or the elevator? Sounded like the building was coming down. The price is too much and felt like I was swindled on my room, next time I'll ask more questions and probably book online because it appeared to be cheaper. I will be back to the place again though!

Unit 301 Turtle Crawl in longboat key Florida Owner-Sergei agreed to let us reschedule, but since has retracted that offer. He’s lying and said he never agreed to that even though I have emails to prove it. Lost out on all of our money. Will never recommend to anyone

We booked a room for a long weekend but when we arrived the hotel attendant told us they didn’t have a room for us. She did not offer any help to resolve the problem and we had to find other accommodations. Very disappointing especially since we had called about a week prior and had not been told of any issues with the booking at the time. 😢

Rented room 501 at the turtle crawl Inn, we enjoyed every minute of it. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The view from this condo was amazing. The staff members really do keep this property very nice. We love staying here, and can’t wait to come back.

The condo was modern, clean and very well equipped. Cannot complain about a thing! The beach is spotless and was never crowded. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is always plenty of parking and some nice places to eat nearby. Would definitely recommend booking unit 64 @ Turtle Crawl.

We had a wonderful stay at the Turtle Crawl Inn! We enjoyed the million dollar view. The unit was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The towel exchange was so nice. It was very quiet and peaceful. The beach and pool were not crowded any time. We will definitely return.

Location was great! Beach was excellent...Room #203...Worst rental we have EVER had.

Saying we were disappointed doesn't scratch the surface. The place is SORELY in need of updating! I felt like we were visiting grandma and couldn't wait to leave! The furniture was so old and the smell when you opened the (paint peeling) cupboards was just gross. It is decorated like all the furnishings were found in various garage sales with no rhyme or reason, just thrown together. The couch was SO bad we couldn't use it. My husband sat on it and it just sank to the floor and he had trouble getting out of it. There were actually carpet pieces placed under the cushions so that you couldn't feel the springs poking through! It was like something from a VERY old frat house in the 70's! Our entire time there we had to sit in old wicker chairs to watch the very small and old TV. We obviously spent as much time OUT of the unit as we could, but at the end of each day it was a bummer to have to return.

The light floor tile (which is black underneath) is so chipped away that it looks like dead bugs...The bathroom was very small and OLDDDDD. Lime green/yellow tub with original pluming fixtures, no fan....and did I mention there were NO CEILING FANS in the whole place?

You have two choices in the bedroom...you either choose to sleep on something similar to plywood or something similar to the COUCH described above!?!

Bottom line is I think the owners should be ashamed of themselves for collecting money from people without putting anything back into the condo. It was a total rip off and we regret our decision to have our vacation time together at Turtle Crawl number #203.....
