My partner and I booked the ghost patrol room for just us two. Our game master, Harry, was incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic and provided positive energy to our escape. Please note that my partner and I have done about 10 escape rooms in the past and we were able to escape ghost patrol with about 8 minutes to spare (and 1 hint for a puzzle).

Technology: 5/5
The tech behind the room is quite elaborate and I definitely feel that the tech added to the immersion of the room.

Puzzles: 5/5
The puzzle difficulty varied from easy all the way to difficult. I will say that this room did a really good job of incorporating multiple senses to the puzzles. For 90 minutes, the amount of puzzles that we had for two people was quite a lot and I could see this room being perfect for 3-4 seasoned players or 4-5 novices.

Overall this was one of our top escape rooms that we have done in the bay area. The puzzles were interesting and the overall ambiance and story was unique and captivating for us.

Terrific experience for the whole family. The production value was phenomenal, especially the lighting, audio, and technical wizardry. The puzzles were very engaging and flowed extremely well. We loved all of the personalization that the Trivium team added (including special touches for the little ones, as well as for those celebrating birthdays). You could tell this was a labor of love for them, and everything was so thoughtful and whimsical, down to the very tiniest of details. Also, a shout out to Brad, who did a wonderful job as game master. Definitely recommended for escape game enthusiasts and all who are looking for a joyful time!

I've never left a Google review before, but my escape room experience at Trivium was so good that I felt compelled to!

The host, Brian, was welcoming, kind, and funny. We had six people in our group, and there were plenty of puzzles for us to work on individually, in pairs, and as a group.

The set, props, lights, and sound effects in the escape room were fantastic. The puzzles were varied, and there were opportunities for each person in our group to be the first to figure out the solution to a particular one.

I was on the fence at first when I was shopping around and looking at prices. However, once my friend looked at other escape rooms in more detail, Trivium games was actually a much better deal for us. We didn't want to play with random people, and in order to do that at other places, we would have had to buy all the tickets in the time slot (often 8, at an average price of $45), which would have been ~$360 for a 60-minute game. For 6 players at Trivium, our subtotal was $371 for a 90-minute game. Plus, this escape room was a much more cohesive, clever, and fun game than any of us had done before.

The worst thing about Trivium is that they only have the Ghost Patrol escape available at the moment! I hope they add another one soon -- our group will be back as soon as they do.

Wow. Just wow. That was our first escape room experience and It was incredible. I was amazed at how high tech everything was! I felt like I was at Disneyland — everything was immersive and interactive. The lights, music, interactive elements in the room… I don’t want to give anything away but it was really so well designed, I’m still amazed by it several days later. The puzzles were challenging but not annoyingly so and Jesse the staff person was great at checking in to give guiding questions or nudge us in the right direction. It was cool how the puzzles were really varied and didn’t get repetitive. We did it with our kids 9 and 11 years old and while they were initially spooked they warmed right up and were able to work on the puzzles too. Man, that was such a cool experience, nothing quite like it, awesome for our family to experience that together. I highly highly recommend it. We didn’t finish it in the allotted time but that’s probably a good thing since there were only 4 of us (with two kids!), it was our first time, and they say it’s a max of 8. Love that they showed us how close we got at the end. Don’t think twice, go book a reservation!

Seriously one of the best escape rooms I’ve tried! Every puzzle is a work of art, the set design is immersive and detailed, sound effects are super clean, and the tech is seamless!! Brad, our guide, kindly answered questions we had at the end and pointed out some Easter eggs. Thank you so much for the great experience!!

Astounding escape room. Top two I've done, and might be the best so far. Fantastic scenery, amazing props, good use of tech, good storyline that was easy to follow, puzzles for the most part tied into the story and plot and made sense, Spacious room, non-linear puzzle tracks, different kinds of puzzles, fun prop to bring into the room. Very cute ghosts, friendly staff. I could tell from the first room that this was going to be a great experience and it was.

What an amazing experience!! I’ve been to a half a dozen or so escape rooms (at 4 different locations) and Trivium Games blew them out of the water. Just starting at the intro video, we knew we were in for a treat. The attention to detail, the production experience, the story line, the scenery, the mini games were all fantastic. It is a bit more expensive than the other rooms I’ve been to, but you definitely get what you pay for. The only downer is I can’t go experience it again (until they open another room).

Best Escape room in SF and also one of the best rooms in the county. I booked with 3 friends. I've done quite a few rooms and they'd never done any and it was a fantastic experience for everyone. The story/theme was freaking DELIGHTFUL, the puzzles were really well balanced, and the little nuances with sound and lighting really set everything apart.

This one was pricier than others but for good reason. It's a longer experience than most (90 minutes) and It's an incredible room.

Book it now.
