What? So apparently Toys “R” Us is back and reopened this location? Just if anyone doesn’t know, this Toys “R” Us closed down years ago and is now a furniture store with no toy section. But when this was a Toys “R” Us, it was such a good location. The memories here cannot be put into words. Hopefully Toys “R” Us makes an even bigger comeback.

A jaw dropping place for kids to go to. This facility was clean and have courteous crew. The toilets are clean all the way to the back. A wide selection of toys for the kids and kids at heart. If they did jot have it, they would easliy guide you tobthe nearest store that has it. Knowing they're closing soon breaks our hearts as this was our first Toys R Us to run at when looking for a new toy! They're in a "store closing" nationwide sale. It's just that a part of a kid's life is now ending.

Great flow through the stores inventory to checkout. The staff is friendly, helpful, and expressively efficient as a unit. I was at the Elk Grove Toys R Us in the early evening on the 23rd of December and when I got in line. The line had grown to wind halfway down the stores isles. I figured it would take longer than a hour to get near a register. The cashiers turned out to be a well oiled machine producing an output that within twenty minutes I was checking out.i have returned and exchanged items here with ease. The customer service makes this a place I shall return to as well as praise.

Went 12/23 and the lines for the cash registers went quickly and they were great to deal with. That being said as far as the bathroom situation, women's bathroom needed toilet paper and no one but no one could get toilet paper. And there no soap to be found. 3 people were looking and to no avail nothing was found

Great experience, the cashier was nice, and I had no problem shopping there. Non of the employees were rude at all. I bought a Sharper Image Microdrone DX-1. Works perfectly fine, so I'm pretty much glad they had this on the shelves. So in conclusion, I would totally go back here again! 😊

Jae was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the carseat trade in program. One of the best cashiering experiences I've had in Elk Grove (the land of retail) - he helped me make an informed choice with my car seat purchase and made the transaction and credit card application process easy as pie and enjoyable to boot. Can't say enough good things about this hard worker and his positive attitude and genuinely friendly demeanor. He also helped me not crash my cart that was stacked high with car seats and made sure I got safely through the door without curbing my rims or decapitating anyone since I am too short to see over the cart full of car seats.

Really sad to see them get sold down the river by their greedy corporate private equity overlords and overpaid executives who left their 33000 employees high and dry. Great store with all a kid could ever want. Lots of variety you can't find at big box stores or evil Amazon. Worth a visit before yet another American icon goes extinct.

Store going to be closing soon I heard. It a great place to look at toys, but people don't really buy. They are usually more expensive than everywhere else so that doesn't help. Restrooms are decent. Going to miss this place when it gone.
