BEWARE OF PRE-ORDERS

First time pre-ordering from Top Deck since they had amazing reviews and a good reputation. Sadly, the first time ordering from them was anything but that.

Drove an hour down to them to pick up Surging Sparks early. I ordered online at first to order the Booster Box but saw they had ETBs in stock as well. I missed out on the PC ETB so seeing this at such a good price, I bought an ETB separately. In hindsight, it was too good to be true but I thought it was because it was a reputable store that I got lucky.

Come to today where I picked it up and the process was smooth. Come a few hours later I get home and was devastated that it was not the product I thought I was getting.

I added pictures of what they posted on Top Deck's website compared to Gamestop's site for the ETB and Pokemon Center's ETB. Total deceptive advertising. Their title was not specified on the ETB version but the pictures AND description alluded to it being PC version. Even the pack count for the two versions are different. Messaged them on their Instagram a little over an hour ago since this post and was left on seen.

Very poor first experience here. Hopefully, others can be aware of this so they don't get disappointed and waste their time like I did. Hopefully, their other pre-orders were not like this as well.

EDIT: As of an hour after this review, I have been refunded for the ETB. They called and was apologized by two different reps. Decent customer service but I'm still disappointed it had to come to this conclusion.

Very clean, tons is selection - especially for MTG. Employees are super nice and helpful.

Much better than most shops I've been to. Especially one in particular one in the city of San Dimas. (A&N cough) If you can make it out here, it's worth the trip.

Driving here for 40 minutes after being told the price of an item. It was explained to me that the item was priced to low (perfectly reasonable not like it's a problem). They didn't care seem to care much, so it was pay the difference of no deal. Only problem is this has happened multiple times. It's a great store with a nice selection that lacks any semblance of professionalism.

Amazing card shop, incredibly friendly staff, and a HUGE selection!! Friend of mine had an employee pic a blister and he pulled the $400 Pikachu EX from surging sparks!! Good luck and good pulls from here 🖤🖤

I often look for places to buy cards and I have to say when I come to TDK I always enjoy myself and find myself getting lost in the inventory and wonderful assortment of cards and products they carry. I always look forward to coming here Nicole hands down made my experience even better, her customer service skills greatly appreciated and very much welcomed. Even at times like I felt like I was bothering she was more than happy to assist me with my choosing of cards. I will continue to return as a lifetime customer and always recommend coming to this shop! Thank you, TDK, for helping me grow my collection and thank you Nicole for the help!

This card shop is one of my favorite places to go to. They always have the best selection for the best price. There is no store like it. The staff and service are amazing. Auriea and Mike are just a couple examples of our favorite staff. They are so helpful and kind. We always leave with amazing deals and smiles 🙂
