Update Jan 2025: A year makes a huge difference! They have expanded the parking and added washroom 🚻 mobile units. Looking great!

Highly recommend! You can't go through the lagoon anymore, I mean ypu canbut on you, but the walk around is doable and totally worth it. Bring snacks and spend some time. Don't get stuck at sunset....while it's beautiful, there is a little hike back, and the mosquitoes are so bad right there because of the lagoon. There are good shells, but the better ones are on the "South Beach," opposite sides of the beach stretch. You're welcome 😊 😉

Quite a walk. Ten dollars to park. They had covered picnic tables and air-conditioned bathrooms. We were fortunate enough to catch low tide and found lots of shells. I would recommend this beach everyone beautiful sunsets.

Best beach around in my opinion. Not over crowded, clean, soft sand but still great shells. Can't beat the sunsets on it either. It's our favorite beach to visit when we come here.

Small paved lot out front but much more space beyond the building on the left. Parking fee (via smartphone) is required ($10 I think).
Several wash stations and a playground make this spot very well equipped.
The watch tower is worth climbing to see the beach and if it is low tide you can see where you can take a short cut to get to the beach by cutting thru the water rather than walking down to the larger main beach in front of the condos.
Parking closes at dusk but if you stay until sunset, put on bug spray before walking back to the car as we found lots of bugs coming out when the sun went down.
No bikes allowed on the sand, strictly enforce (not even walking a bike).
Lots of people fishing in various spots.
WONDERFUL BEACH!!

So Tigertail Beach was so cool but you are definitely gonna walk there. You better be ready to walk but once you get there, it’s so gorgeous.

Best for shelling at low tide, as the one can walk out and search the ocean bed for fresh new shells. Can be difficult to walk bare feet on the shells. Recommend sandals or water shoes.

Beautiful and Peaceful place. I love ❤ the white sand and the feeling just looking at the nature : shells - please do not take live shells is against the Law-, little fishes and birds. Depends on the tide, you can walk true the pond and get to the shore. Mud ? Yes, but is worth it!!

Tiger tail is a wonderful clean beach big enough to serve everyone! Parking is limited, but a beautiful beach!
