I inherited a darling Christnas music box that no longer played music .I can remember listening to it as a young child and just wanted to hear it again .I found The MusicHouse on line while trying to order a replacement music mechanism for it . Thankfully, Ron called me as he didn't have what I ordered in stick. I explained what I was trying to do and after discussion we agreed to have me send the whole box to him . In transit some of the pieces broke and Ron called immediately and sent a picture so I knew it happened ,I was so sad.
While in Ron's care the music box was given sound again and Ron glued it's pieces back together .He padded it and shipped it back and I was so happy to hear it play whike it circled around it's cute display . So appreciative .

Ron was a pleasure to work with. I was searching for an item all over, and Ron actually came through big time! He was the first (and 1 of very few) that actually followed up with a response. He was attentive to my requests, provided excellent communication, and kept me abreast of updates. I emailed them asking if they could fix my antique music box as it didn’t play music or wind up anymore. I received a reply within an hour suggesting I call and they would walk me through fixing it. I was skeptical but I called and we had the music box fixed within 10 minutes! Ronald knew exactly what was wrong and was very kind about walking me through it and suggesting upkeep tips as well, completely free of charge! Thank you guys so much!!

I received my mother's non working music/jewelry box from my middle sister last month. The movement was broken.
I googled Music Box repair and dialed the first number. I briefly told Candy about the music box and she started describing the movement and how it moved a ballerina on the three inch piece of mirrored glass. I was impressed. We talked a bit more about restoring my Mother's music box.
UPS delivered my Mother's music box to the Music House two days later. Ron called me and told me his concerns about the restoration. I insisted the melody be the same but did not know the tune. Ron gave me a price.

Ten days later, I had my Mother's music box. The ballerina danced on the new three inch mirrored glass. The other mirrored glass was replaced. The melody was the same in a different key( I have OCD. I figure with a little more, maybe a lot more, effort, Candy and Ron would have been able to find an exact match.).
I am delighted that I found these wonderful people to restored my mother's music box. My Mother's music box is not special or expensive. It is working now. When I open the box and hear the familiar tune,and I recall the times and other memories when it played on my mother's dresser.I plan to share Mother's music box with my youngest sister for her birthday.

Update after Christmas morning:
Everyone got to open up their gifts and my wife loved her Leaded Glass 5" Music Box Disc Player. I placed a photo of her and our son on top. Inside was the custom made Que Sera Sera metal disc and it sounded perfect.

Great gift for a great wife and mother. Got compliments from wife's side of the family after she called them. All around what I wanted.

She also got me a framed collage of my family line so I feel we both got awesome gifts.

Sorry for being vague. I need to keep a secret for now. Long story short this place is outstanding.

I had an idea for a musical item for a Christmas gift and could not find a reasonably priced way to achieve it. I can't say what exactly it is because my wife might stumble upon this review. The picture shows an element of the final gift. I contacted the music house who showed me different options after listening to my idea and directed me to various parts of the website.

After the item was hand crafted from various parts of the USA and assembled, it was sent to me and arrived quickly.

I instantly knew I found the perfect item. I was shocked at how amazing it looked. I was blown away after listening to it. It'll be an instant heirloom for my family. I can't wait to see how happy my wife will be to open it and how angry she'll be to know she got out gifted.

My only complaint is how undersold I was. This shop sends works of art. The phrase they used if I remember correctly was "it'll look great". What an understatement!

The customer service was prompt and helpful. I wish I could give six stars. I might update after Christmas and the wife sees her gift.

I was shopping for a very specific box and not finding it until one store referred me to Ron's 'Music House.'  It was easy to talk with Ron and he quickly put my special order together.  He put me on Facetime so I could see it before placing the order.  And it was cheaper than I thought it would be!

Then when I got the box I was absolutely thrilled and delighted, practically to tears!  It is truly wonderful and I am so unbelievably glad he could fulfill this dream of mine.  And, it looks even way better in person vs. the view through Facetime.

It is a little strange and sobering that there is only one shop in the US that could fill my special order, so that makes him truly one of a kind.  It teaches me not to wait so long to realize those dreams!

I love the Music House! Many years ago my family worked with Reuge in Switzerland to create a music box movement (36 note) of the lullaby my mom wrote us as children. We each received a portion of the minimum order. I had a few made into boxes over 30 plus years ago and did not do anything with the ones I had left. I looked on line and found the Music House and read they were a family business! I knew I had found the best place.
I called Ron and told him my story. My thought was to put them in a plexiglass box and he let me know the best option. He also came up with the idea to put a engraved plate on each with "Go To Sleep" and the copywrite date. Trusting the mail and The Music House, I overnighted the movements from CA to FL and he let me know as soon as they were received and he went to work!
Except for a small glitch and Ron's excellent customer service, they arrived just beautifully and I'm able to gift them to my granddaughters for this Christmas!
I am so happy to have them to gift to any future grandchildren or maybe great-grandchildren!! Thank you Ron and team!
