I stumbled upon The Tech Toy Store by chance while heading to UPS to return some Amazon boxes. I had never been there before, but I’m so glad I walked in!

From the moment I entered, I was warmly greeted by Christie, who immediately took an interest in my phone issue. I had been struggling with people not being able to hear me, and she quickly provided a quote for a new mic. However, instead of pushing a sale, she suspected the issue was just a clogged microphone. She took my phone to the back, when I met Jeof—another incredibly personable and welcoming team member.

Jeof and Christie explained that many people assume their phone is broken when, in reality, a simple cleaning can do the trick. They thoroughly cleaned my speakers, tested the audio multiple times, and just like that—my phone was working perfectly again! The best part? I didn’t have to spend a dime.

This kind of honesty and integrity is rare. Instead of charging me for an unnecessary repair, they prioritized my needs over profit. Because of this experience, they have earned a lifelong customer. Please get written estimates for all repairs being done. I was quoted one price and charged a different price upon pick up. It is my fault for trusting a verbal quote. I was pleased with the turnaround. However, the change in price was not expected.
