A Hidden Gem on Marco Island - 5 Stars All the Way! ONLY DURING WEEKDAYS WHEN THE GOOD SERVERS ARE AT THE PLACE

I've had the pleasure of dining at The SpeakEasy Marco Island twice now, and each time has been nothing short of exceptional. This place has truly become a favorite for my family and me.

On our most recent visit, I started with the Lobster Bisque, which was rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. The Seared Tuna Tacos were a perfect follow-up—fresh, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. On our first visit, we enjoyed the Escargot and the Lobster Roll, both of which were equally outstanding. The food here consistently has that comforting, homemade taste, prepared fresh with great care.

The atmosphere is another highlight. We've always chosen to sit outdoors near the water, and the serene, picturesque setting truly enhances the dining experience. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a fantastic meal.

The drink selection is top-notch as well. We've savored everything from expertly crafted Martinis to refreshing Palomas and Margaritas. The wine selection is also impressive, offering a great variety for all tastes.

Service has been consistently excellent on both occasions, and special recognition goes to Devin, who took great care of us each time. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable—everything you could ask for in a server.

We will definitely be back again. The SpeakEasy Marco Island is a hidden gem, and I wholeheartedly give it 5 stars. Highly recommended!

The Speakeasy on Marco Island is a hidden gem that deserves every one of its five stars! From the moment you walk in, you're transported back in time with its charming, vintage ambiance. The drinks are expertly crafted, with a wide selection of unique cocktails that are both creative and delicious. The food is equally impressive—every dish is bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The service is top-notch; the staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Whether you're looking for a place to unwind with a drink or enjoy a full dining experience, The Speakeasy is the perfect spot. I can't recommend it enough!

Not good. Had a reservation and upon 5 minute early check in was informed in a not so nice way "there is another reservation in 1.5 hours so you must leave by then". I don't linger at restaurants but was shocked at the tone and statement in a way that seem to mean, we will boot you if you can't eat and leave in time. Or don't sit if you can't be out by then. My only response was "that's up to you to deliver". It went downhill from there. Table was out by the canal where there is fish cleaning going on, carcasses being tossed in the water right below us with the usual odor. I already knew this and it's not a problem for me but some would find it repulsive. Order was taken in a rush and food rushed out stacking salad on top of apps and main dish on top of salad, no ask for drink refills. Food is average bar food or less at premium prices, our guest were very disappointed. Finished or should I say were rushed through in about an hour. Our guest said lets have dessert to hopefully leave with a sweet taste. Problem was, server did not return for 15 minutes then would have to get menu's so we skipped due to time. We left and went for ice cream instead. Clearly they are relying on the non-returning tourist crowd and running them through as fast as possible.

Alex was our server, awesome! Made some recommendations that we loved, attentive and friendly. Pear martini was delicious as was the margarita pizza. Great table on the water. Perfect evening.

Nice atmosphere and location next to a water canal and nice menu. We enjoyed sitting by the water, despite a very hot day, we enjoyed the shade . The indoors was packed but we took our chances outdoors and did not regret it. I ordered my usual, fish and chips and my husband ordered a Phyllis Cheese that he enjoyed. The atmosphere was nicely created with photographs and corners, but did not translate into the service or food experience.
Nice but there are many similar options.

Great place to hang out, and have some drinks and good food at a reasonable price. The staff is amazing, great bartenders, Amanda, Jeremy, and Amber are great wait staff Sam is awesome. The staff overall are very friendly and great overall. Definitely one of the best places on the island.

Great place for “cool cats” to dine inside or out. Referred to me by a coworker and Marco Island resident, I walked into a bar & restaurant tucked away in the corner of a small complex to “check out the joint.”
A gentleman behind the bar introduced himself as Bobby Nash and he was so friendly and informative that I invited a friend to join me for dinner there the following week.
Being off season, we opted for outdoor seating & enjoyed a relaxing waterfront view.
I ordered the NY strip, medium rare, & my friend ordered their Two Tail Lobster Special, which is offered on Mondays & Wednesdays We chose to share our dishes.
We finished fresh salads that preceded the entrees before drizzling melted butter over the lobster tails & our choice of potatoes. The lobster tails were butterflied for a mess free dining experience and the steak was prepared perfectly. We even ate almost all of our vegetables, they were that good, before sharing a slice of their chocolate cake.
Everything was delicious!
It was nice to catch up on good conversation with a dear friend by the waters edge. Very satisfying.
Upon leaving, I think I spotted someone eating a big bowl of French Onion soup, It looked yummy. Perhaps their passphrase should be “Is mom here?” because these two ladies will definitely be back to eat with more friends.

The flatbread pizza was not so good, and the meat seemed dead. The atmosphere was really nice though. The lobster bisque was very good. My dad (from Chicago) said the Chicago dog was as good as to be expected outside of Chicago. They didn't card me for drinks
