A variety of prehistoric artifacts including dinosaur Dino bones and other creatures. Also includes local history. For young children you can touch a Dino femur, they have a sand pit for “fossil” digging and a coloring station / area with potentially other things to do like board games (I think it’s for the visitors but I may be wrong).
5$ an adult and 2$ for kids over 4 yrs. A little more than I expected to pay for some reason I thought it was just 2$ per person. Knowledgeable staff (Jacob was the one who answered our questions).

A top notch museum and an extraordinary staff.
Every room was not only filled with a fine exhibit, but with details and jammed with story.
Jacob was there and answered all my questions with enthusiasm.
He even made some suggestions based off my historical interests
and ensured sure I didn't miss any details.
A visit well worth stopping in.

I highly suggest going to see the rest of that T-Rex I posted! We had such a good time with not just the exhibits but also the Dino activities! We even got to pretend to be Paleontologists with the dino dig they had set up. I think we are definitely going to be looking into the summer camps they have scheduled for our 6 year old!

Nice little museum with a variety of displays such as Dinosaurs, the history of Sherman, an old time general store, and a Meteorite Men exhibit (as of 06/30/2020). Friendly staff, pricing was $5/adult.

Pretty neat little museum. My kids enjoyed the dinosaurs and the fossil dig activity. We spent about 45 minutes looking around.
