One of my favorite comic shops in the LA area. I usually hit this one about once a week for their great selection of back issues and dollar (or sometimes three dollar) bin books. The Culver City location is much closer to me, but the selection here is more my speed.

I went in for advice about getting into Magic: The Gathering the other day. The staff member on site disclosed that he wasn't terribly knowledgeable about the game, but then unprompted he called up another staffer who was out of the store that day who consulted with me for a full fifteen minutes on which decks to start with - and then they both invited me to come to the store's game nights and advised me on who specifically would likely be willing to teach me the ropes of the game. Phenomenal!

Awesome comic book store. They have a great selection of comics, games, and other memorabilia. Plus, they put on some great live shows from time to time.

The Comic Bug is a great little comic book store in Manhattan Beach. Parking is easy on the street and the place is on Manhattan Beach Blvd. so it is hard to miss.

The place is spotless and there are a lot of tables for people to sit and actually read the comics if they want. How nice of them.

The staff is great. They know comics, all of them. They know where they are and what type you need based on the questions you ask. I know nothing of comic books and my grandson has a few communication issues, so I really needed help to get my grandson the comics he would like. He is not a collector, so he will read and toss them.

They have the expensive comic books, hard cover comics and all sorts of collector things. This little place has really everything.

The staff talked to my grandson and were so patient with him. They saw he was with his Bubbie and they know we spend money, but instead of showing stuff beyond his abilities, they directed him to the huge one dollar collection. My grandson was in heaven because he got to pick out a few instead of one. He was so happy with his selection.

I just love this place and we will be back, even though it is a drive for us. Go there.

I always buy Pokemon packages from both locations somehow every package that I open is always a common foil card , I started to feel like they resealed there packages and they sell it so expensive 20 dollars for one , that’s insane!!! Just to get common foil cards I have bought packages from somewhere else I at least get a rare foil and that weird that all the time I buy from is always some crappy cards. DONT BUY FROM THEM , I feel that they resealed their packages

Just started to go to comic shops around my area and I was really blown away by the selection at the Comic Bug, as well as how clean and organized everything was. I spent about an hour looking through boxes and loved every minute of it. Never felt like anyone was hovering over me. Just got to relax and find books that looked amazing. Walked out w 5 older books that I'm really happy with. Looking forward to going back asap!

Loved it! Great atmosphere, cool toys,.... Sorry, figures 😂🤣😂😜 and not TOO bad of prices on them either. Second area for card games, table top, etc etc. Lots of tables to sit and rip some opponents down. Artist/writers/creatives come and hang out on Wednesdays too!!!
