Wonderful and caring staff. Have almost every type of board game possible. Good comics and Pokemon card collections.

DnD night has been impressive. Over 10 tables running each Monday night. Group welcoming and even have a young (8-12) table.

Not Warhammer Friendly.

This location has plenty of table space, and sells 40k models, but they will not provide table space to 40k players. They run regular MTG/TCG tournaments, and all available space goes toward hosting those events. We have tried to get our group on their events calendar before, and we have been turned away more than once. Why would I purchase models at a store that is unwilling to let me use their tables to play with those models?

Warhammer players avoid this store.

Amazing store. Visited recently for the Surfside Showdown by Eminence Games, hosted by TC’s Rockets. They have a pizza shop next door that does good food for relatively inexpensive. The location is decent and the play space is the largest I’ve ever seen in a retail store. This may not be THE biggest, as clearly, I’ve not been everywhere. But it was comfortably able to run a 100+ man event in tandem with a smaller 16 person event simultaneously.

Staff is plenty and kind. Their trade-in rates for Magic cards, If you’re wanting to get store credit that is planned to be used in other magic singles, is the best I’ve seen. 75% in Near Mint. I do not like how they reduce the payout based on condition, by adding an additional percentage off of the cards market value instead of establishing the initial trade in value and then further adjusting based on the condition after the first calculation. The staff incorrectly stated that doing so the way they do is better for the customer.

75% with an additional 20% reduction, calculated after finding 75%, is a better trade-in amount than a cumulative 55% of the same value. So if you’re trying to trade in cards that aren’t LP or better, you’re likely not going to get what you feel is fair.

All this to say that I will absolutely utilize this space again if I’m ever in the area.

Great place to buy sell, and trade comics. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Great place to play Magic and D&D and Warhammer. Reserve a table same day-no advance reservations. Great place to meet comic book collectors. Most are willing to talk with you about them. Great see place to see old timey, classic cars on the weekend

Brought my little one here for a daddy daughter day, all the employees were going above and beyond to help us. They made her feel special and were very patient as she tried to explain what Pokemon card she was looking for not only did they manage to find it but they showed her other cards that went well with it. She is eager to come back and so am I. 100/10 recommend coming here.

A year ago I Sold them 3 cards I found out after was valued over $550, they told me it was only worth $70 that they gave me had just gotten back into the hobby, didn’t know about tcgplayer, but they really scammed me, I brought my wife here once since I had lost my voice , she was ignored for male customers even tho she had been standing there a while trying to get the dudes attention for me, and when there wasn’t any dudes coming up after he acted like she was an inconvenience until he realized she was helping me super disrespectful thing to do in front of my daughters. I know a lot of people like it, but they lost my respect. The guy behind the pokemon counter also admitted he has not clue about pokemon like most of the employees and they prefer magic. Will never be going back, and hopefully can find a car store that’s actually respectful

Place is a ripoff pretty much everything they sell you could find online much cheaper. And they’re liars I asked if they price matched and they said no and proceeded to say “the prices on those are always going up, so we can’t lower it.” Meanwhile I found the toy I wanted online listed for $10 cheaper on multiple sites.

Don’t shop her unless you like supporting greedy ppl.

This is one of—if not THE—biggest and best card, games, and comics shops in San Diego county. They have models, figurines, Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, comics, toys, and more! A really special and cool shop.

The staff are really fun as well, they have a really cool vibe and have a good time with customers. One really interesting thing about this shop is that they also have a pizza & subs restaurant set up directly next door! Pretty unusual and cool!

I enjoy their Magic prerelease tournaments a lot. They’re slightly cheaper than most other stores, and a ton of people show up to play. If you’re interested in this kind of stuff, TC’s is definitely worth your time.
