We had the pleasure of having Sound in Motion as our DJ/MC for our June wedding, and Andrew was absolutely phenomenal. We met with him beforehand to discuss our vision for the day, and he took detailed notes to ensure everything went smoothly. His meticulous attention to detail was evident as he timed the music for our ceremony perfectly, tailoring each piece to fit the moment seamlessly.

Andrew was attentive and proactive, making sure everyone had a microphone for their toasts, hyping up the crowd, and keeping the dance floor buzzing all night. It was clear from our first meeting with DJ Courtney that he really cared about playing music at our wedding that would be meaningful to us and enhance the day. We really appreciate that he took the time to get to know us as a couple and hear what our priorities for the wedding were. We have family members who only speak Spanish and we were hoping that music and the dancing would be a major way to make the wedding feel inclusive for everyone. The day of our wedding DJ Courtney went above and beyond, bringing along a friend who played an amazing collection of reggaeton, merengue, and bachata. The two DJs alternated sets all night and the dance floor was packed from 8:30-11. Many of our friends said it was the best wedding dance floor they had ever been on and that was largely due to how amazing the DJs were. THANK YOU for making our wedding the best night of our lives through music.

My best friend just got married and used this company per her venue’s recommendation. Rey was the DJ and he honestly messed up everything. All the playlists and songs were sent a week+ prior via email, and he played the wrong version of their first dance song, the wrong mother & son song and wrong father & daughter song. The playlist for the dance portion was all incorrect, and anytime it was brought up to Rey he gaslit the bride and groom saying he never received the songs. If it were one or two mistakes it would of course be excusable, but the issues compounded were honestly unacceptable for the tier of DJ they paid for. Completely inappropriate and unprofessional.

Sound in Motion assigned Ethan Stone to work with us. Man, this guy put on a stellar performance! Our wedding date was 9/24/2021, we're continuing to receive compliments on the music a few days after.

Ethan reached out to us in advance to get an idea of what kind of music my wife and I wanted at our wedding, the ideal flow and what songs we might want to work in. He was a really good bouncing board for different ideas, such as shorter mother/son dance, daddy/daughter dance and what songs to avoid. During the wedding he gauged the crowd accordingly and bumped up the music based on how folks were dancing. Thank you for working with us on our special day Ethan.
