WOW! Best experience ever! We are super busy people so it was important to me to find out if this was an option and then get it done! Everyone at SolarMax was amazing, from our estimate and changing where we wanted panels, and asking tons questions, to the professional installation! From start to finish everyone at SolarMax was easy to work with quick to answer. I will no longer pay any crazy electricity bill, I will even get a credit back from Edison! AND I can look at app on my phone to see how much my panels are generating each day. Beautiful sleek installation and professionals through the whole process! Would recommend them to anyone considering solar, and can't wait for my tax credit!

I'm not one to write a review but after hearing nightmare stories from friends, I felt it necessary to give SolarMax credit for how well our set up was, along with the customer service we received. Mark Andrews went above and beyond in explaining the step by step process, as well as always being available and responsive to our questions and concerns. At the time we were having a pool built, and they worked with our construction staff with timing and placement, so things would be easier for us, and also saved us money by doing so. There was a slight hiccup, (like there usually always is) and it was taken care of within 24 hours. The referral fee is a huge plus as well, and our new monthly Edison bill is between 13-17$ every month! So worth it! I highly recommend SolarMax and if you can ask for Mark Andrews, that's an even bigger plus! We have referred them to several friends and family and they are all satisfied customers. I have to give a shout out to Simon C. He's the sales lead on my parents solar system. He went above and beyond his job description to figure things out for us.

We ended up with a lot of questions regarding the system and instead of going through customer service, he was able to answer them or get things done without going through hoops. A good sales person should always be knowledgeable about what they are selling and how it operates; and he has the knowledge to back up his products. You'll know you're in good hands with Simon.

The pain point with solar is dealing with the city and Edison (power company); so those are understandably out of SolarMax's hands, as frustrating as it is dealing with the inspectors.

Great experience with this company from start to end. My initial exposure was with the industry leader which was absolutely TERRIBLE. Through a friend referral, I got in touch with SolarMax. Their sales rep was totally up front, honest and very responsive. You could not ask for more hands down. Once agreed to and contract signed, the rest of the process was smooth. During install, the crew went out of their way to make the install seamless and as clean as it could be from an external facing standpoint (paint, caulk, stucco, etc.). Again, top notch and I am very happy I came across them. If you look at others, please include these guys as they certainly deserve a slot at the evaluation table.

My sales rep was knowledgeable and personable. They referred me to a roofer and coordinated with him, the city, and the utility company. All I had to do was pay for it. They took care of everything else. And now, my Edisonectomy is just about complete. My system is producing 107% of the electricity my home requires - my meter is running backwards. And it's January! Think of how it will be in July! Couldn't be happier.
