Fantastic venue! The drinks were yummy and reasonably priced PLUS everything (including the bathroom) was wheelchair accessible. Besides the surrounding streets - accessing this place was a breeze. I went for a concert and had the best time!

Nice little concert venue the sound was good you are up close and personal with the artist that is really cool my only complaints and it's not really something I care about because I try to be right in front of the stage is that the bar is so long and it's right in the center of the place witch is awkward there is alot of bad reviews about the staff I did not get a drink so I dint know how the bartenders are but they seemed cool the door guys were good Overall if a band you like is coming here definitely go see them here another con is the parking there is none haha drive around and you should get some street parking

Had a blast at the Soda Bar we drove almost 3 hrs to see Toni Romiti and she did not dissapoint the staff and bartender were so friendly it was a great vibe and great people we will definitely be going to more shows at the soda bar. Thank you for a great time xoxo...

Great intimate, small venue with dope presence for musicians and also a locals bar vibe. Really simple drink menu for events, I know I had a lot of their tequila & Squirt sodas, I think I dropped my first $100 on soda ever, but still gotta tip your diligent bar staff, much love! Great hiphop!!! Thank you 🌊🏄‍♂️🤙

Great small place for live shows and music. Good service and nice intimate venue with seating and standing area. No parking lot however so must utilize street parking.

Soda Bar is a San Diego institution. Tons of great national touring acts come through here, as well as local up-and-comers. They’ve got pretty good sound, and a great selection of beer and cocktails. I kinda wish the bar wasn’t in the middle of the venue but that’s the only downside really. Great place to watch a show and have a couple drinks!

If you want to see a band in a really intimate space, Soda Bar stands out.

I saw Sparta here in 2022 & it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Granted, Sparta is an amazing band, but seeing them in such an intimate venue was life changing! We were able to get up close to the stage. Me & my dad went together & since we are both guitar gear nerds, it was great to see Jim Ward's kit up close. (Nice pedal board Jim, but that Custom Esquire is a thing of beauty!)

The primary downside is sometimes, they double book events so we had to leave almost as soon as the band left the stage so the staff could prepare for some weird late night dj dance thing.

Other than that, an overall great experience. Great place to see shows!

I had a bad experience at Soda Bar. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff was rude and unhelpful. They seemed irritated just by having customers there, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. The bartender had a terrible attitude, and ordering drinks felt like a hassle. The sound quality for the live music was disappointing, and the doorman, who’s supposed to be the welcoming face of the place, was especially unpleasant. I was looking forward to a good night out but left feeling let down and frustrated. Would not recommend if you’re looking for good service or a friendly vibe.
