JP was the gentleman that assisted me and was so thoughtful and so kind. He truly made my day with assisting with a painting that I recently purchased. It’s extraordinary you just never know what kind of treasures you might find here. I love stopping by here every time coming back from Apple Hill, or just simply to get away from the city, unique thrift store, and fair prices.
You also have to keep in mind thrift stores, especially once like hospice have to keep up with today’s world and adjusting their pricing a little bit to pay their workers and help with the type of care that is needed. You can’t expect everything to be a dollar or two dollars these days even at local thrift store so having a little bit compassion for what this place is trying to do and continue to do , really helps
spread the love further. I support this thrift store and their prices and if you truly feel different about something and its price I’m sure they’ll be more than happy to negotiate with you depending on the situation of course. I refuse to go to Goodwill and other chain thrift stores support your local thrift store. 💖

I'm absolutely thrilled to update my review after having a wonderful encounter with the General Manager at another location! It was such a relief to feel heard and understood regarding my concerns for this particular store. And let me tell you, Daron's sense of humor was absolutely delightful! It's clear that Snow Line Hospice genuinely cares about their customers, and I can't wait to come back in the future to enjoy everything they have to offer and support their amazing cause. A big thank you to the staff who listened to my concerns and took all the right steps to address them today! 10-15-24

I’d avoid this store, the staff they have are very unfriendly. David stated he was the manager and that they don’t give discounts to broken or chipped items. When I asked for a manager he stated he was the manger. I placed my purses on the counter and he said are you gonna pay for the purse? Even though it was clear and you could see my suture inside of it. I asked him if he thought I was stealing it and he said you never know! What a gross thing to say to someone who helps you make your wages. This store is extremely overpriced and the worst one run in the snow line Hospice. Avoid it at all cost.

Some of the most wonderful treasures in El Dorado County. I drive 3 hours just to find the best things here. One of their employees, Maddie, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the other stores like Folsom and others. 10/10 great place for furniture. Will be back soon!

First time visiting this store today. Honestly it’s mostly junk. What wasn’t cheap junk was expensive. I could do better at Good Will, Amazon or a Dollar Tree. The place was very unorganized and hard to walk through. The gentleman checking us out didn’t even want to take the time to wrap the few items that I did buy. Customer service lacking and random junk just sitting on shelves with pretty high price tags. Not worth the trip.

Snowline is a wonderful organization that provides very high quality end of life care. I appreciate being able to donate to them and buy needed items at a very affordable cost.

Clean organized and overpriced clothes. I stopped by on my way to Carson city but I would probably never come back as most of their clothes is Walmart and target brands with high prices.

The prices are ridiculously high on many things. Just no longer worth the visit to shop. Here's an edit to this post, you replied that I could have talked to a manager. Why should I have to hunt that person down? You all know that in the last several years your pricing has been unreasonably high. I had been walking in there about once a month, looking for some specific types of things, I see stuff that has been there on the shelves for months and months and months. The prices are probably one reason why. It used to be colored tags would designate what month they were put on the floor, then at some point certain colors would go to half price. I'm sure that caused price tag changing by customers. So, then you went to once a month half off sale. I'm not sure that happens anymore. A lot of the things I see on the floor, half off still wouldn't be worth coming in for.

This place used to be cool and affordable. Now i see stuff literally bought at family dollar maked up to 3.00 last time i went i grabbed 2 shirts from the kids section marked at 2.99 and for an 8 year old and they said they were
supposed to be in the adult section and wanted 5.99 each.. For a kids size 10-12. They have cheap dressers for like 300.00 and all the semi nice stuff in now put into the boutique section and marked way up. Mean while all the stuff is donated.. Sad.
