My son and I went. We have and love snakes. We went hours out of our way to visit Snake World. We could have stayed all day. All the negative reviews are most likely not interested in reptiles which gives them a bias opinion. Snake world is not a highly funded organization. These snakes are pets and loved. One should consider their self lucky the owners of these beautiful snakes share their collection with others.

My son loves and is mesmerized by snakes, therefore he LoVeD this place! Pretty sure he enjoyed it more than Disney World and Universal Studios BOTH. The lady who gave the tour was very educated on reptiles and you had a great love for animals. My son did not want to leave! Lol

Well, I’m not sure what I expected, but suffice it to say, this was a waste of $50 for a family of four. You never know what you are getting when you pull up to a roadside attraction; however, this was just a bit scary. The owners were very nice; however, the husbandry of the animals was a bit to be desired. The cages were dirty, the house trailer was filthy with rat droppings throughout the facility, and the smell was pretty intense. We have snakes and I am not even a snake lover… my wife and boys are and they didn’t enjoy it. We were taken into the venomous room by the owner and we did not feel safe. He kept sitting cages on top of other cages with screens on the top. I am sure there was nothing inherently dangerous about putting hard objects on top of metal screens; however, given the fact there were a number of deadly snakes in a very small room, it felt a bit unsafe. Additionally, you are walking around cobwebs and hanging extension cords everywhere…just not kept up. Maybe in its heyday this place was awesome, but not anymore. I am sure if you love snakes and have a very open mind this might be a good time.

What a wonderful experience for the kids! I love that she took the time to teach the kids about all the snakes and threw in a bunch of fun facts. This trip totally made my daughter‘s day! She hasn’t stopped talking about it!

Snake world was awesome! The people are very nice and genuine and you can tell they really care about these animals they have. They give you an informative tour that lasts about 45 minutes and they take you through the many Venomous and non venomous snakes as well as letting you hold some! Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Loved it! The owners are kind and let me and my partner hold some of the non-venomous snakes! While the place may not look good, they take really good care of their reptiles. The snakes are really well fed, interactive with new comers. I will come back again when I visit Arkansas again.

The place looked pretty ran down but we went anyway. There was no one there but there was two numbers to call on the door. So we called both numbers and nothing. This was on a Saturday between 1:30 and 2 P.M.

This is a intimate spot and does not deserve harsh judgment! It was like stepping into a home and being able to interact with pet snakes. We had fun holding lots of cuddly snakes. They curled and climbed and were pretty and healthy. It’s not like a professional zoo but we liked it better that way, getting to hold and fawn over all the snakes. Just be prepared for the mess and smell of the place, and it is not wheelchair accessible
