Wonderful to catch my Cubs during 2024 Spring Training. The grounds are immaculate and the staff extremely friendly and entertaining. Parking is available at the park for roughly $20 and we noticed parking in the hotel lots for various prices depending on how close to the park you chose. I would recommend not trying to find neighborhood parking, as there were plenty of signs indicating they were happy to ticket and tow violators. We opted to take Waymo from our hotel and got to experience an autonomous vehicle experience (it was awesome and painless).

There are a ton of drink and food options once inside Sloan Park, but remember you are at an MLB facility, so expect those prices to be pretty lofty.

If you come early, there were plenty of entertainment options for the kids, and from what we saw they were all having fun. The players and staff try their best to cater to the youngsters.

Every visit to Sloan Park has been fabulous! Hosted a small gathering of 30 friends on the first base party deck with catering and so much fun for all of us! Annie did a great job with catering and Tyson Trainer was a dream to work with as our representative of Sloan Park. The greatest complement was when one of my guests asked what hosting a party there entailed because he wants to do one next year! I highly recommend visits to Sloan Park and hosting gatherings there!

I have been a CUBS fan since the late 90’s. My husband, daughter and me have been coming to the Cactus league spring training for several years (minus COVID & post COVID years). Visiting the camp is a bit boring because you don’t get to meet and great the CUBS players like you do at some of the other camps such as the KC Royals or Oakland A’s. they are considered celebrities. I say, open it up a bit more and players should be selective. DON’T SIGN AUTOGRAPH TO SLEEZEBALL OPPORTUNIST WHO ARE ONLY GOING TO SELL ON EBAY TO MAKE MONEY. But for the rest, just the opportunity of a picture or a baseball would be wonderful. As for the facility and ball park, it is beautiful. Very well kept and the staff is friendly. The fan shop is awesome as well. So stop by and watch some of the players take practice with either batting or hitting. Then take a walk to the fan shop and by a momento. And if you are able to, catch a game!

Sloan Park has one of the best vibes of all the spring training stadiums in Arizona. They tailgate beforehand and the Cub's fans are passionate. The grass outfield (berm) is the largest of all the stadiums and offers a good value to seeing a game. I was disappointed to see that they started charging for parking (only one of a few that do) along with a few other disappointments this year. I usually get a souvenir or two such as a magnet that shows the team and year. They didn't offer them this year. Souvenir drink cups only come with Coke, no other soda options including even diet coke (weird). I also found some team shorts that I wanted to purchase but they were out of most sizes, early into the training season. The stadium is great but the rest of the experience was a bit of a let down.

Attended a spring training game here. It was a sold out stadium. We had seats in the grass and the view was amazing. Get there early to get a nice space in the grass. We arrived about an hour early and had a good selection. Bring a blanket the grass was wet so we were glad we had it! Kids can run up to the fence in the grass area and players will throw balls. Check bag policies before you arrive. Lots of food options. We had pizza and birria tacos and both were good. Birria tacos you will be waiting a while. Lots of parking. We parked in the 10$ parking and it was just a horrible easy walk. We had all our luggage in the car and felt safe leaving it there. We left at the 8th inning and got out easily.

We attend a spring training game at Sloan Park on February 25th. The weather was perfect. The fans were overall well behaved The foul balls not so much. One of the balls hit the seat a few feet away. This was pretty scary for the fans seated nearby. The tickets for the seats are pretty expensive. The drinks are really expensive. As one of the vendors said "ice cold, very overpriced beer". One way to save some money is to take your own water in an unopened bottle. The second is to buy general admission tickets for around $18-30 versus $150 for a stadium seat. Take a blanket as this is lawn seating - no chairs. It is on the north side of the ballpark so is in full sun. The park is getting a little beat up as the cup holders in front of the seats against the wall were broken off. Rest of the stadium looked good. We were disappointed the Cubs did not score against the Padres but the game was fun anyway.

Wonderful ballpark for a spring training baseball game! I am a Cubs fan is going to Sloan Park is one of the only opportunities I get to go and see my Cubs play good baseball! I also like how Sloan Park is designed to be like Wrigley Field and has an overall great Chicago atmosphere! Would definitely recommend this place, even if anyone is from Chicago and wants to catch a spring training game out here in Mesa!
