The biggest and main roller coasters were closed, huge disappointment. Loading took forever, half of their animals were gone, and mostly all staff except for one guy, were not helpful, or didn't know common questions (not confusing or detailed ones)
However, the thrill of the park rides were quite fun, and the kid section was up and running and very large. Would recommend for kids, not teens.
Also, the very few animal attractions were the most fun we had at the park.

We had an incredible experience at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom on New Year’s Eve! The park exceeded all expectations in every way. The kids (ages 2.5, 6 and 10) were able to enjoy all the rides they wanted—some even twice—thanks to the short lines. They loved the food (ate it all), and the holiday lights created a magical atmosphere. The $20.00 meal deal is awesome and the four for $20 special was sooooo worth it!!!!

What stood out the most was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and made the day feel truly special. Seriously! Everyone was so nice, and that is not common these days. Additionally, the value for the price was unbeatable.

Closing out the evening as the last to leave the park was the perfect way to end a memorable day (and year for that matter). Highly recommend Six Flags Discovery Kingdom for a festive and enjoyable holiday outing! A+++

Had the opportunity to see the dolphins up close through a work function. It was such a great experience. If you ever get this opportunity, jump on it. These dolphins are so sweet, and while I'm not a huge fan of animals in captivity, the trainers and dolphins seem to have such a harmonious relationship with one another. The dolphins each have unique personalities. They're just so sweet. The trainers are knowledgeable and very skilled, but more importantly, they seem truly connected to the dolphins. It was very impressive.

My visit to Six Flags Vallejo was a mixed bag. On the plus side, the rides were fantastic, including Medusa, Superman, and Wonder Woman, which offered a thrilling experience. However, the overall experience was marred by several issues.

Firstly, it seemed like every ride we tried had some kind of malfunction. The Joker, in particular, was a disappointment. We waited in line for two hours only for the ride to break down just as we were about to board. This left everyone waiting in the sun for about 20 minutes, which was quite frustrating.

Additionally, the park's management and maintenance were lacking. Over five rides were out of order during our visit, which impacted the overall enjoyment. If you decide to go, focus on the rides in the left section of the park as they offer the best experience with less crowd.

While the Flash Pass can significantly enhance your visit by reducing wait times, it is quite pricey. If it fits your budget, it's worth considering. Overall, I would recommend checking the ride status before going and being prepared for some potential delays.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom? More like Six Flags Disaster Kingdom! Showed up at opening, only to find…well, not much of anything open! After a thrilling hour of standing around, one ride finally creaked to life, like it’d been resurrected from a retirement home for roller coasters. Slowly, and I mean really slowly, a few other rides started to open, but only about half of them ever did. By midday, the place was still a ghost town of closed attractions and broken dreams.

And just when we thought it couldn’t get worse, we got in line for three different rides, only to have each one shut down while we were waiting! Talk about next-level disappointment. I even splurged on a single-ride Flash Pass, only for the ride to close right as I was about to use it. No ride and no refund. Honestly, Six Flags should consider renaming this place “Six Broken Dreams Kingdom” or just close it down altogether. At least then, we wouldn’t be paying for lines to nowhere.

Yes, this is the place you are looking for to have a good time with your kids, eat sweets and goodies, scream at high and not so high, scary and exciting rides. My son is 8 years old, and he is delighted with the rides where he is already allowed (and there are many here). I am 36 years old, and I am happy that my son does not drag me to the rides with a loop (of which there are also many here). Everyone will like it here - both the brave and not so. Join us, you will not regret it!

Definitely not the experience I was hoping for. We came here for a day of rides, laughter, good times and fright fest. We arrived at 1 pm, and it didn’t seem too busy. We immediately booked it to our first ride, and the wait time was 3 hours. We rode two rides this trip around, which took up more of our time than we desired. I believe there were 7 rides open for the day. The food situation was unorganized, the attempt to purchase a pretzel at Octoberfest meant waiting for pretzels made at the place next door, and came out in a turkey pan. At least they were fresh! Food wait times were 20 -45 min in line, and then wait times after that. Food that we did try was ‘meh’ at best. Expect to pay 20$ for a drink. My advice? Bring your own food in with you, it’s healthier, readily available, and cheaper.

The fright fest activities, well, the teens went into the mazes, and they enjoyed them. The security presence there was heavy and they were exactly and simply that, a presence. We were appalled at the behavior of some of the guests, as it was extremely vulgar and inappropriate for long periods of time, while ‘security’ was present. I saw machines get kicked, I saw early teens running into people, and I heard language and witnessed behavior that I didn’t expect to be exposed to on our trip to Six Flags.

We had high hopes, and one day we may try again. But for now, Six Flags has a clear image in our mind. This place was once great, family friendly fun, that I have fond memories of over many years. I know they will get back there again, one day.

Park is nice, staff is very friendly. It seems Medusa and the flash were down indefinitely.

I will not as a larger person I would wish there were some seats with plus sized people in mind.

They are nice about giving flash passes if you can't be accommodated.

Maintenance is an issue, I actually got stuck and could not get off of wonder woman until a tech was there. we only got about a third of the ride before they had to stop it
