Their website is glitchy and I couldnā€™t even login to make changes to our plan or cancel it. I had to email several times and they didnā€™t understand I couldnā€™t even get into my account. My plan has been canceled effective 12/31/24, but I was charged another month of premiums on 1/10/25. It is now 2/3/25 and I have still not received a refund. I was told it would be 10-14 days to receive a refund. I was expecting that money to be back in my account by the end of the month so I could pay bills for February, but it is not. It is shameful to take peopleā€™s money and not get them refunded in a timely manner. Many of their clients are small businesses and canā€™t afford to not be refunded in a timely manner. Their customer service team and lazy and does not care about the well being of their clients. There are a lot of other negative reviews, and everyone considering doing business with them should take caution and avoid them if possible. I used them for 2 years and didnā€™t have one positive experience with them.

I wondered why Quickbooks parted ways with them, but I think I get it now. Trying to enroll my employees through their site, we kept getting a message that our company doesnā€™t offer vision or dental. But we do. So calling tech support we were told they see the problem, would have it fixed and email us in two days. That didnā€™t happen. We called 4 times and the exact same promise was broken.
Then we got calls from SimplyInsured that our ENTIRE company renewal was not able to be processed because the new employees had not selected vision or dental optionsā€¦WHICH WE COULDNā€™T DO BECAUSE OF THEIR WEBSITE! 3 more calls and sets of promises to resolve.
I am not on the 18th of January and they have still not submitted my renewal policy. I am consulting with my attorney at this point. Protect your employees, protect yourself from liability. Stay away from SimplyUninsured.

This is an awful experience. I don't understand it either. They used to be good to work with, but I can't get anyone to help me with a plan they promised to start on 9/1. I called multiple times to confirm it and here we are with no plan. The customer service agent says they can't help with new plan setup. I emailed or called everyone I could. It leaves you in a really bad spot if you have suggested this to your payroll clients.

SimplyInsured, your customers rely on you to keep your commitments. It's very tramautic to be without health insurance. If you can't follow through on your promises, you need to pause new applications and get your house in order. Hopefully someone will end up helping myself or the customer and I can update this.

Avoid SimplyInsured at all costs. Does not follow up with things and blames the issue on you not re-syncing with Finch. They have had an issue with not syncing deductions with QuickBooks for 2 months now and have yet to resolve it. Do not use their services.

Difficult to reach a human being at your firm. Phone numbers are not readily avaialable. Young people need to understand , there is comfort and assurance when speaking to a human, not everything should be on line.

This company is a scam. I paid for insurance from the 1st-20th just to find out this company didn't do their job and obtain insurance but was happy to take payments weekly for said insurance. If it wasn't for me calling in to verify why I was being told by healthcare workers I was not found in insurance systems did they finally look into it.

Cannot get anyone to call me back. My renewal was processed wrong and it seems they have zero urgency to get it fixed. Matt the supervisor has not given me a call back after several phone calls. I have spoken to no less than 5 different people at SimplyInsured and they all say a manager has it and will give me a call back. I have also emailed in an attempt to get more communication and still no responses. This is completely unacceptable especially when dealing with peoples health care. The only reason why I have to use them is because they are integrated into my payroll system.

Absolutely terrible and incompetent! Our health insurance policy was not renewed and had been terminated for over 2 months. We didnt find out until employees tried using their health insurance card and were told it was inactive. Simply insured continued taking employee and employer contributions during this time and showed our health plan as active in their system. They confirmed active coverage over a month after our policy had been terminated, and offered to add a new hire to our terminated plan 2 months after it was terminated.

When we contacted them, we were told someone else handles this. Then we would speak to that ā€œsomeone elseā€ and they would tell us that the person we originally spoke to handles it. This company is a hot mess. We were then notified by Quickbooks that Quickbooks was ending their partnership with SimplyInsured. Donā€™t waste your time!
