Very peaceful and quiet setting. Plaque describing the settlement sits at a memorial across the street by the church.

How Show Low got its name shares a bit of history of how the west was settled. The sculpture of Cooley and Clark sits near the top of the promenade connecting Deuce of Clubs Blvd and E. Cooley St. at the foot of the stage.

Got to finally stop and visit this monument which I only had seen from the road while passing through Show Low. Corydon Cooley is my great-great-great grandfather.
Was impressed how clean and well kept the area was. A real pleasure to visit. Enjoyed reading the sign explaining the history of the name of the town. It was fun to take the empty seat at the card game.

This is a peaceful quiet park, just to the north of the LDS church. A sculpture is there of the two ranchers who played the famous card game at which the town and the through street were named.
I liked the place, and the story on the plaque below the statue.
There is parking a for a few cars, but no restrooms.
A fun history lesson.

Statue was nice and there was an extra seat at the table to allow you to join the game. The area of the statue was very clean during our visit. The church across the street also had an area to visit.

If you don't know the history behind the town of Show Low, this is a fun way to learn about it. And it's such a cool, old west type story.

While you're there, stop by the WWI memorial at the church behind this plaza, bc they have pieces of log from the Petrified Forest that are fun to see.

Same'O. High dollar products I don't need. I was hoping for produce and only 1 booth, also way too expensive. I'll just go to Wally and/or Safeway. Only if there's sales. Only.

Had Hecks repair my 2016 F250 after a guy backed his truck into my rear quarter panel, quickly gave me a quote and ordered the parts. Once the parts came in called me and scheduled a day to bring it in. They did great work and looked brand new. Great communication very easy to work with. Highly recommend them.

I spent two entire seasons of farmers market with my booth right in front of this memorial. This is an attraction and a very popular photo opp. I sell a lot of my jewelry here.
