Justin Stefani called today to check on our shopmonkey 2.0 migration. We had a few issues, search not working, missing payout history & inventory not appearing on estimates. Justin was able to fix all 3 of these issues and explain some new features in less than 10 minutes on the phone. Thank you.

Unfortunately, my experience has been much like the many others described across the internet. In the honeymoon phase, everything seemed to be going quite well and the future seemed promising, until the cracks began to show. The sales and onboarding team was more than helpful and easy to work with and I was excited to build a relationship with the company moving forward. I had even highly recommended two other shop owners to look into them. Then came the storm. Functionality issues/bugs, MOTOR estimator services just being outright unusable for most vehicles, broken promises and essentially causing my business to come off as a disorganized mess to customers. Add in the fact that they removed real time customer support and only allowed assistance via chat or scheduled meetings. I understand that all businesses endure growing pains and that nothing is perfect, but shouldn't software built for automotive shops be built by someone with experience in the automotive industry?

Let's not forget about all the times they were dishonest in their account billing neither. I won't get into too many details on public forum about their "upstanding and honest billing practices", however rest assured I'm still fighting with them on this matter. The best decision I've made in business was leaving Mitchell1. The second best decision I've made was ditching Shopmonkey. Listen to the reviews, the actual reviews. Not just the ones they want you to see. You have been warned.

If they decide to finally reach out and do right by me, I'll update this review; however as things stand now, I'd rather hand carve RO's into a stone.

After trying another "Big" name in shop management programs, I contacted Shopmonkey and after a very detailed conversation with them I made the switch. Ryan at Shopmonkey has been very helpful and has answered any questions I have. I would highly recommend them above any other shop management system to anyone thinking of using one.
