Took son and friends for his birthday and it was challenging, the puzzles and overall experience was very organized and had alot of puzzles and stages to complete before escape!!! Will definitely come back without the kids for the more extreme/difficult rooms!!!!

Was an absolutely great experience. We did the cellblock d room and it was well thought out. Very fun. Staff was friendly and facility was clean. We will definitely be going back to try more rooms. Highly recommend!!

So amazing!! We would highly recommend. We did the Cell Block D room and will for sure be back to try the others. We have done many escape rooms and the challenge of this one was great! The owners were friendly and wonderful. Thanks for a fun outing for our family!

I'm from Austin and our group of friends travel to Shiner every January. I was surprised and thrilled to find out an escape room had opened up in Shiner! Its located just past the brewery and is only minutes from, well, literally everything in the town.

They currently have 4 themed rooms. We opted to do the Shiner beer themed one. I would consider it to be medium difficulty. Our group of 6 finished it with over 11 minutes to spare and not using all of our hints.

The staff were fantastic: friendly, engaging, and accommodating. The game was well-managed and expertly designed. I would highly recommend adding the Shiner Escape Rooms to your itinerary for your next trip to Shiner!

Highly Recommend!!!

I live toward Houston, my friend toward San Antonio--when we get together we try to do things in between us. She wanted to do an escape room, and I said pfft that will have to be in a big city. BUT I googled just for kicks, and imagine how surprised I was when one of the lovely authentic Texas towns between us--Shiner no less--had not one, but FIVE escape room adventures!

I had no experience doing an escape room; my friend did, and we both loved the Shiner Beer room--the mystery kept going and going, with lots of puzzles and clues. We had to collaborate! The room was great, the mysteries and clues excellent--and the room worked in fun local culture. We hope to go again and try the other rooms. It was just two of us on the moderate/beginner difficulty and it was a lot of fun. The proprietors are wonderful Texas locals who were a delight to chat with and guided us thru the experience and made sure we had a great time. The facilities are also very organized--clean and pristine.

For a small Texas town, Shiner Escape Rooms offered a well put together experience. We were a little light on team members but they didn't have a problem with us paying the extra ticket and giving us a go at the hardest puzzle in their repetoire. The hotel setup was interesting and the guy that sets up the rooms was patient and only assisted us when we were completely stumped.

If you enjoy lockbox puzzles give the hotel puzzle a go. It had plenty lockboxes and there were occaisional games of skill thrown in. Personally I would like to have seen more of those but honestly, the experience was very well put together and we all had a blast.

We had a great time! Would highly recommend! The rooms are so engaging. We did Cell Block D and Evil Roy’s Mind. We had our 14 year granddaughter with us and she had some much fun we had to do two rooms in one day.
5 stars! Owners are phenomenal!

This place was great! We did the Shiner beer room (of course) and it was really well balanced, with a nice mix of different puzzles. I really feel like I got my money's worth. I've done about a dozen of these and this is definitely one of the top in terms of value and fun. If you are in the area for a Shiner tour, go support these guys!
