I don't normally do reviews but I felt like I needed to this time, if you are planning any birthday parties here please read all of the fine print. I used their website to book my daughters birthday party here last night from 4-5 pm. I read on the website that after the 1 hour time slot the kids could still skate as long as we were out of the party room, I should have looked closer because the skating ring actually closes at 5 pm and reopens at 730pm. What other skating ring does that on a Saturday night? We had my daughters birthday party there a few years ago and had no problems at all. Let's start with the bathrooms, they were filthy and looked like they had not been cleaned in at least a week or more. Now let's get to the actual party, the price on the website was $160 with a 15% service fee added plus 8.25% sales tax at the end. It says to bring the 3 c's children, cake, candles which I did. The price was supposed to include table setting( never got the table cover,or napkins,had to ask for the forks and plates)a host or hostess to serve party(never got either one) had to remind them of the money machine, and the pizza was horrible like the cheese was old or something. Even though they let us stay to at least cut the cake I basically paid $200 bucks for 1 hour of skating and 3 terrible pizzas and some soda. If they are going to close after that time slot then they should at least lower the cost of that last party in my opinion because that is entirely too much to spend on 1 hour of skating. My advice come really really early to get your money's worth skating or go elsewhere.

Came to let the kids have 1 last little bit of fun before school starts, and wow, this place has fallen apart. Restrooms are nasty, floors are sticky, no pizzas, no popcorn, no nachos, no food of any kind, when we asked if we could order something to be delivered they said outside food wasn’t allowed. But since they don’t have food would let us. Staff said the night before shift didn’t clean. Well that must happen a lot then but this is the worst we’ve seen it. We have been coming here for 6 years and seen the decline. Will be driving to Plano from now on, what a disappointment!!!!!! Where is the manager/owner; shouldn’t they be checking in on staff? Cleanliness of facility? Not sure how they can call themselves Sherman’s premier skating facility when it looks like a run down 80’s skating rink.

The skates are horrible old about half falling apart. For the kids that are new they section them off to a little 10x 20 part in the back of the rink. Not counting that the rink itself is really in need of a remodel. my kids couldn't have fun there it's not worth the money. Honestly just drive over to Denison. It's by far a better place

Skate land in Sherman is a joke party was supposed to be $160 I paid $100 deposit added one pizza on line when I booked it that was in price ! Then when I go to leave they want $225 I say no finally after arguing I that they didn’t take deposit off they finally do still saying I owe $125 I was coming in thinking I pay $60 on top of not having any pepperoni for all four of my pizza. The bathroom is disgusting. There’s only one that works and it has a door that you can barely fit in. The other stall is closed in the middle stall don’t even have doors. The boys said there bathroom was nasty too and smelled really bad ! They had arcade machine stole the kids money and told about it. They said well we don’t really own the machine so we’re not giving you money back on that when we go to take the pizza home to go boxes for the pizza they didn’t have any ! Not many plates ! I told them can they take fee off for no pepperoni no to go boxes limited plates and nasty restrooms and conditions they said no I asked why it charge so much and they charge all kind of fees because they wanna make sure everyone gets paid well place is nasty and they made us get up from our party table 15 minutes before it was even time so another party could go there. when there was two other tables next to us that are in party rooms that are set up that never got used the whole time we were there . Whole place was nasty ! Arcade machine were broke only got party room for one hour which was in package but got to skate for 2 so at least there’s that ! I just don’t like that there’s extra fees and it isn’t included online with the pricing so you think the fees are in already and they are not when you add the pizza the extra pizza it shows it like it’s adding it in the price. My fault for not reading the print and calculating all that together. But I did they had no pepperoni for the pizzas and all the pizzas were pepperoni. They didn’t have boxes or anything for us to take the extra slices in. I figured they could at least five to $10.Off

I paid $200 to have a party that was supposed to be $160. The kids were supposed to skate until 4pm and then go into the room to have the party with pizza, drinks, cake and gifts. During open skate other parties were called to their room and their party ensued. At 4:15, our party still had not been called. I gathered everyone myself and assumed pizza, drinks, plates and utensils would come shortly. After waiting over 30 min, I went to get some plates. I was given plates, but no forks or napkins. I finally went to get them myself. When the pizza finally came, (about 10 min to closing time) it was the most disgusting pizza any of us had ever had. We were then supposed to go into the money blowing machine, but there was no worker to be found. I sought her out again and she told me to gather our party and go to the machine. I asked her to call everyone over the loud speaker so I didn’t have to waste time walking all over and screaming across the rink to get everyone over there. She didn’t. The machine did not work. There was 1 paper flying around and he was not allowed to pick anything up off the floor. After the money machine (rink now closed), he was supposed to put a handprint on the wall. Again, I had to seek out a worker and ask if he could do it. She told me they didn’t have any paint and then told me they do have paint, but that it doesn’t come off the skin. I finally got her to get some paint and we did the handprint. It came time to pay and I had my receipt on my phone where I had paid $100 and owed $60. She told me even though it came from their website, it was not their company that the receipt came from. She made me pay $97 more. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a party, especially for $200! I shouldn’t have to hunt down a worker and basically beg for everything that was included with the party. And the extra 30 bucks was really rude, especially after such an awful experience.

Skateland was so welcoming and accommodating with my crew. We had 5 special needs kids with 4 in wheelchairs. They made sure we had enough room for all of them at our party.
