Good selection of dive gear - especially for recreational divers but we were not impressed by the service. The staff member who helped our group talked negatively about the dive instructor we were about to take a PADI open water course with the following day. We were dissapointed by this lack of professionalism and support of the local dive community. After taking the class, we found the staff members claims to be baseless. Our instructor was incredibly kind, funny, and took safety and PADI regulations very seriously. We will not be returning to this shop, despite it being the closest to our home.

This place is so cool. Took the Babaa for swimming lessons. There is a waiting list. Ms. Amber is so patient, just awesome. The location is easy to get to. I don't scuba, but it looks like everything you could possibly need for your water activities .

I’ve been PADI certified since I was 12, however I felt I needed a refresher after a long hiatus. Tim, Tracy and the rest of the team at Scuba Monkey were fantastic instructors and have helped reignite my passion for diving. Everyone at the shop is super knowledgeable, friendly, and always happy to help. The shop has an incredible selection and carries top of the line equipment. They can help anyone from the beginner to the most experienced technical diver and their prices can’t be beat. Support your local dive shop and stop by Scuba Monkey for the best in the business.

Had an amazing weekend at my Advanced Open Water class in Pompano Beach!! The weather was a bit rough on the surface but absolutely amazing on the dive site. My instructor, Tim , was very knowledgeable and patient. He, as well as the other awesome students, made it very enjoyable. Had so much fun I stayed and dove the next day!!! Thank you, Scuba Monkey, for helping me to fulfill my dream to dive as well as my experience level.

This place and staff are amazing. I recently did my scuba certification and went to this dive shop to purchase some gear.

After certification I booked my first dive trip while going on a cruise. So I wanted to purchase my own setup before going rather than using rental gear.

Tommy greeted me and recommended gear which I ultimately purchased. However, since I'm a new diver I was nervous about the gear I was purchasing since I had no previous reference to go off of. Tommy was wonderful and allowed me to use the gear in the pool prior to my trip. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions. After 10 minutes in the pool I was in LOVE with my new gear and it gave me the peace of mind knowing I would enjoy my first dive.

They now have a new customer for life and look forward to joining their dive club!

Best dive shop around! Staff is very friendly and helpful. For all your want and needs Scuba Monkey is your place. Learn to dive Joe is an awesome dive master. He helped us feel very comfortable in the water. They always have fun trips planned and local dives too. Dive in the tank at Epcot. underwater Easter egg hunt dive with awesome prizes. And much more. 🙂

Just finished my open water certification through Scuba Monkey. They were amazing! The instructors were excellent, very thorough and patient. Their store front is great with lots to choose from. If you are wanting to get certified or just need supplies this is the place to go!
