This was my first time bringing my toddler (2 y/o) to the Schoolhouse Children’s Museum & we’ll definitely be coming back! Tons of space for kids to play and tons of exhibits to explore! Bathrooms are clean & there are many signs reminding parents to keep food out of the play areas. Rules are clear, price is great, and the place is fun & safe! šŸ™‚ when we entered they were at capacity but we only had to wait about 10-15 minutes to enter. Definitely recommend making a reservation before coming; I will next time! šŸ™‚

Edit: the museum replied to my review very fast which makes me want to add back the star I originally knocked. For some reason I thought the guy with the ponytail was the owner, anyhow his demeanor is very positive. I think some of the staff needs to realize the children are the true customers, not the parents. Some professional training on how respectfully talk to a child is crucial. I, as a parent, don't want you to fawn, but instead speak appropriately to children. They are not your equals, they can't adequately answer your angry talk. If you truly want to make it right, an in-person apology to my children by that person will suffice.

Original: My kids (3 and 5) love this place. They can spend hours playing here. I bought them the yearly membership and come here pretty often. Some staff ladies are just making up rules as they go and bother my kids which makes me not want to renew the membership. The owner is a pretty cool guy who is always there.

We took our grandson & loved the variety of activities they offer in an immaculate, beautifully restored building with architectural integrity. So interesting for all of us to learn such intriguing historical facts. Friendly staf, so colorful & inviting. We’ll be buying a yearly membership. They also offer so many wonderful classes. The butterfly garden & playground are fantastic for all ages.

Great little children’s museum. It’s small but high quality and appropriately priced. If your children love to use their imaginations and play, this place can keep them busy for several hours. We went on a Thursday and had the whole place to ourselves. Free parking nearby and also a nice playground.

Took my two kids here (ages 2 and 5) and they absolutely love it. We’ve now been twice and honestly I had a great time too. I learned so much about boynton beach, the founders, and so much more. In fact the museum is the original school - the first one in boynton. It’s truly a hands on museum so it’s perfect for the little ones. We stay a good hour and then we head outside to the brand new playgrounds. There’s two playgrounds and always go to both. There’s ample parking which is free. There’s also a cute and quaint butterfly garden. Not only will the kids have fun, you can learn something too. Definitely worth a visit! Perfect for toddlers and young kids (under 7)

If I could Give this place negative stars I would, I was excited to try this museum out but was quickly was disappointed. This childrens museum needs a good scrub and all toys washed. It was not clean . Being a preschool teacher I know how clean a childrens activity classroom/ museum should be. To my surprise they also wanted you to pay a class activity fee on top of the additional entrance fee. Highly disappointed and grossed out. Will not return.

It's a very interesting place in town, for an indoor activity, lots to see and play with. The toddler cove is great to keep babys entertained and safe because it has a gate. No food or drinks inside some of the areas.
