We were nervous because this was our first gay campground but we absolutely loved our stay. We spent one week in a full hookup RV site. Every employee from the front office, to the pool, to the bars was down to earth and attentive. The campground is well kept and you can tell everyone has a sense of pride for this place. The only negative thing I have to say is that the water pressure at our site was often very poor.

We had heard good things about Sawmill and we're anxious to check it out. We really enjoyed EVERYTHING they had to offer😏. Appreciated the fun activities on the weekend. Enjoyed the diversion of the billard room but discovered our skills were lacking. One big take away was how clean and well maintained the facility is throughout. Probably the biggest plus of all is how friendly and helpful all the staff were that we encountered. So good at interacting with the guest and focusing on their needs. It all came together as a very positive and enjoyable first experience. We look forward to returning soon.

Visited again after 13 year hiatus. Nice to see all the cool changes. Rented an ultimate cabin for 4 days and it was pretty nice and comfortable. A couple complaints would be it smelled heavy of mildew and I think service might have come by and did not replenish towels, soaps coffee nothing. I think the sheets were changed but not sure. Bartenders were nice and friendly, food was good especially the breakfast buffet, which was unexpected.
I wish there would have been a letter or something that would have outlined the events taking place that weekend since we were charged as a special weekend and there was nothing explaining what, who or where anything was taking place.
The weather was pretty crappy most of the visit but we made the best of it.
P. S the gray cat is so cute, begs with no meow or anything. This kitty visited a few times, sat and stared for hours lol.

Concern Regarding Unethical Practices and Poor Management at Sawmill Campgrounds||||To express my concerns and deep disappointment regarding recent experiences at Sawmill Campgrounds. Unfortunately, what should have been a safe, enjoyable stay turned into a highly distressing experience, leaving me with a lasting negative impression of the establishment.||||Firstly, I am alarmed by the severe environmental and public health issues present on the property. Specifically, I observed raw sewage being dumped into a nearby waterway, which is not only hazardous but also ethically and legally unacceptable. Additionally, methamphetamine use appeared rampant on the grounds, with some patrons openly using and offering the substance to others. Despite bringing these issues to your team’s attention, no action was taken, leaving guests vulnerable to unsafe and unhealthy conditions.||||Adding to this frustration, I was disturbed by dishonest communication regarding my stay. I was informed that an outstanding balance existed, despite having made payment arrangements. This contradiction, along with assertions that I had unpaid nights, was confusing and frustrating. It is difficult to understand how such misinformation could be provided when it is well known that no one would be allowed to stay without payment.||||This experience has left a lasting impression of unprofessionalism and disregard for both guest safety and the environment.
