This Zoo was very interactive compared to others. Had many different animals for everyone to enjoy. Parking lot gets full fast so the earlier you go the better. We chose to buy our tickets at the door since purchasing online charges you a convenience fee. We did have to wait about 25 to get in but it was worth the wait. This Zoo was clean and well kept. Animals seemed happy and friendly. It was super fun feeding the flamingos and being around nature. The gift shop was a decent size with many different items. Overall, would definitely recommend!

So many fun things to do and see! Not leaving out the chance to hand feed, flamingos! The chance to touch a live alligator. With the chance to get your picture taken with beautiful tropical birds.

The property is beautiful with winding trails through some amazing greenery. This property is over 85 years old and I can imagine what it was like in the early days for people to come and wander through. We had fun and would recommend recommended.

I LOVE this Gardens. It's a nice walk around garden with a brick paved sidewalk all the way through. There's plenty of trees canopies through the whole walk so you are in the shade most of the time. Lots of different animal exhibits and birds. Several displays of Beautiful Macaw birds hanging outside on perches. A petting zoo with goats. Also food dispensers so you can feed the pink flamingos. An alligator show.

Stopped at the Jungle yesterday March 14 to use up a few hours before our flight left. We enjoyed feeding the Flamingos very much! The bird areas with all the wonderful named Tropical Birds was wonderful. We were sad that we couldn't go to the Cafe, even just to use the restroom. While I think this adventure is beautiful, I feel that if you can't get any munchies at all and have to work your way back to the front to use the restroom the ticket price should reflect this. It is beautiful for sure but at the moment many exhibits aren't open so at least call to ask if this interests you.

We had a blast! Hand-feeding the flamingos was an experience of a lifetime. They are incredibly gentle and seem never to get full. We also enjoyed the baby alligator and parrot experiences. Plenty of animal feed is available for purchase in the gift shop, cafe, and throughout the park. We purchased the package with additional feed and brought a roll of quarters for the feed vending machines throughout the park. The grounds are gorgeous, with paved trails leading you through the gardens. Catching little glimpses of the flamingo flock throughout the luscious tropical gardens was incredible. The staff was super friendly and informative too. We’ll be back!

My wife and I visited Sarasota Jungle Gardens on a Saturday, and we had a great time. It wasn’t too crowded, though there were a few birthday parties happening, which added to the lively atmosphere. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

While there was still some minor hurricane damage, the place looked fantastic overall. They’re actively working on repairs, so it won’t be an issue for long.

One of the highlights of our visit was feeding the flamingos. They were absolutely gorgeous and fascinating birds. It was a fun and unique experience, though we did feel that the price of the feed was a bit high for the small amount you received.

Overall, Sarasota Jungle Gardens is a great way to spend a few hours on a Saturday. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a visit!

Visiting this establishment was one of the most unique and amazing experiences I’ve ever had. Jenny in the petting zoo was so kind, intelligent, and thoughtful. I could tell she really loves her job. I didn’t get their names, but the workers at the Bird encounter area were also very nice, and Becca at the front counter was very friendly and very helpful.The flamingos and parrots were definitely my favorite animals! I arrived on a Friday around 2 PM and had time to look at almost everything without feeling rushed. Definitely add the animal feed to your ticket! Some exhibits were closed due to renovations, but the experience was definitely worth it, nonetheless. Thank you, Sarasota jungle Gardens!

Fun way to spend the day. We enjoyed all of the hands on parts of the park and walking around the “jungle”. A few parts were closed so that was disappointing and they definitely need more help at the ticket counter/gift shop counter. Otherwise we will probably be back!
