I love Round1! This place has super fun and unique arcade games that I've never found anywhere else. They have an unlimited game option for some of their games which is neat. They also have a ton of claw machines which, if you want good advice, don't play those types of games anywhere because they're all rigged 😂 This place has good, bowling, sports, skating, and a ton of different activities.

The bowling lanes are modern and well-maintained, with a great atmosphere that’s perfect for casual games or a bit of friendly competition. The arcade is a blast, offering a wide variety of games — from classic favorites to cutting-edge machines that will keep you entertained for hours.

What really stood out was the vibe — upbeat and family-friendly but still fun enough for adults. The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our visit.

The food and drinks are decent, typical for a spot like this, but you’re really here for the games and activities. Whether you’re planning a birthday party, a night out with friends, or just want to blow off some steam, Round 1 is a great choice.

Disappointing Experience at Round1 Pembroke Pines

Review:

I recently visited Round1 Bowling & Amusement at Pembroke Lakes Mall in Pembroke Pines and was thoroughly disappointed with the overall experience.

Facilities:

Arcade Machines: Nearly half of the machines we tried were either malfunctioning or incomplete. One machine was missing essential parts, rendering it unusable. It's evident that maintenance is lacking, and machines are not regularly checked for functionality.

Cleanliness: The restrooms were unkempt, and the food court area appeared unsanitary. Observing staff members neglecting cleanliness protocols, such as leaving broken glass unattended, was concerning.

Safety: Leaving broken glass on the floor poses a significant safety hazard. It's alarming that staff did not address this promptly, considering the potential risks to patrons.

Customer Service:

The associates seemed indifferent and lacked the customer service training one might expect from an entertainment venue. In contrast, my experiences at Round1 locations in Japan have always been positive, with staff exhibiting high standards of service and attentiveness.

Management and Maintenance:

The absence of visible management and the evident neglect in maintenance suggest a lack of oversight. Given the premium pricing, one would expect better upkeep and attention to detail.

Food and Beverage:

The food options were unappealing, and the appearance of the bar area was unclean. We chose to dine elsewhere due to concerns about hygiene and quality.

Overall, this experience fell far short of expectations. I hope management takes this feedback seriously to improve the quality of service and facilities.

We had a very good time. The staff was very helpful friendly and polite. It was a week day so we had easy access to all the games. I love that its easier to win a little prize here than some other arcades.

My little one just wanted to play the games not interested in winning. He had fun

I’m not usually a fan of this place. It’s very cool but customer service and the way they charge is not great. So I just never bring my kids here. However I came with a friend for a birthday and a young man named Eddy was very kind and great with the kids. He’s a good asset to Spo-cha.

This is a fun and nice place to take your kids and celebrate a special occasion for them. Most of the staff and managers I spoke with were nice enough and accommodating, but they are extremely understaffed and the wait for service is ridiculous. As much money as this place charges and is raking in, one would think it would be better administered. Staffing and scheduling can be accomplished if made a priority. Unless they improve, I don't think I'll be returning. There are other options.
