I have used these folks several times and never disappointed. Just got my Texas Dall Sheep, Blackbuck Antelope, and Fallow Deer and they are fantastic! Previously had a great Axis Deer done by them, too. Highly recommended!

My preferred taxidermist and processor in the Sutton County area! As an outfitter, I am always needing a professional, no BS place to get work done for myself and my clients and Rough Creek fits the bill. Their taxidermy on axis and whitetail is bar none. Their processing is quick, clean and packaged very well! I would recommend them to anyone looking to get anything done

I brought 2 axis deer for processing. Weights of axis 171 lb & 115 lb. When the processor brought out my meat I knew it wasn't enough meat. I processed one myself 155 lb. On the axis I processed I had 66 lb of deboned meat. The meat I received from the processor for 2 axis was 71lb.

I would not recommend this processor

We took a couple Axis to Rough Creek to have processed. Their staff was all extremely helpful and friendly. Sometimes when you go to processors, I feel like they can sometimes be short with you when you ask questions. At some places, this may be in part because I am a woman, maybe not, not sure. However, Rough Creek was very kind and patient and explanatory without trying to rush me. I even spoke to David and Hannah, the owners, and they were very helpful and provided wonderful customer service. I haven’t gotten the meat back, so I can’t speak on that yet, but will either update the review or write another one once it’s back. But we were HIGHLY recommended by someone who has killed deer all over the state, elk, moose, mule deer, antelope, black buck and other species over the nation and multiple species in Africa. He said this was the best game processing he has ever had so we are giving it a shot! The first impression lived up to the hype!

I highly recommend Rough Creek. Myself, my father in law, and other family members have use them for processing and mounting our harvests. Great packing of meat, lots of options, and delicious jerky. I had my elk shoulder mounted and couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. It was exactly how I wanted it done. The detail and quality of the mount is spectacular!

Top notch processing and taxidermy. We’ve dropped off a ton of Whitetail, Axis, Fallow and Aoudad, horns and mounts always come out great, we always get our moneys worth of meat and it’s always great. Couldn’t recommend these people enough and I plan to bring them many more.
