Harley is the Property Manager of the apartment I am currently living in and I can say without any hesitation that his performance is the best. It's hard to list every thing that Harley does well because every thing that he does he exceptionally. Harley has the fastest response time of any landlord or property manager I have ever come in contact with. Just last week I mentioned to Harley a minor issue I was having with the unit, I let him know that it was not time sensitive, nevertheless the very same day Harley had contractors at the unit.

When an issue arises Harley goes above in beyond to understand everything he can about the issue in order to assess the best course of action. We had an issue with the washing machine in our unit which I brought to Harley. He independently researched everything he could about the model and about the issue before reporting back to me. At first I was skeptical on starting contact for the house Harland was the listing broker because it was an excellent option, the perfect house at the perfect location for me and I had already been applied for two lease contracts and denied on both. However I've contacted him anyways, we've met at the house location and this was when everything has changed.

We have been fortunate to have worked with Mr. Stine for over 30 years, starting with purchasing a town house in Northern Virginia with his excellent guidance. We transferred abroad, and chose Harland to manage it for the years we were away . He did a fabulous job of finding reliable renters as well as leasing and managing the property. We decided to sell and engaged him to do so. Lamentably, I failed to heed his advice, accepting a low-ball offer and taking a loss. Had we listened, we would have turned a hefty profit.

Upon returning to the US on short notice, some years later, Harland went above and beyond in helping us find a townhouse that fit us perfectly. This purchase was done 100% virtually and he handled the whole process impeccably. When we once again moved abroad we again chose him as our manager, with the by now usual excellent results. We have now retired to Wisconsin and turned to him to sell the property – good news, we sold at a very good price. Bad news, we will likely no longer avail ourselves of us professional services.

Mr. Stine has exceptionally high standards, he is meticulous in screening renters, ensuring a very strong lease, and monitoring in a non-intrusive, but consistent manner. For nearly 3 decades I have been working with Harland Stine from Residential Virtual Realty. It all started when I began searching for a house in Arlington, VA in 1994. Harley quickly learned about my preferences and showed me places that met my requirements. He was extremely patient with me. The house I purchased was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have enjoyed living in the house in Clarendon ever since. The whole process of buying the house was efficient and thorough. I went away to New Mexico for 3 years (2001-2004) and I engaged Residential Virtual Realty to lease and manage my house while away. Harley found me the perfect renters. He came by the house periodically, informed me of anything that needed fixing, and took care of it. I went away again to Belgium (2015-2018) and I didn’t hesitate a minute to ask Harley to manage my house. He was terrific at suggesting improvement to get the house in shape so that I would get a rental on par with similar houses in the neighborhood. Thanks to his advice, the investment I made paid off in the first 3 months of rent. Once again, he found the perfect renters. Before returning back to the area we decided to convert the old oil furnace into a gas one and relied on Harley to manage the contract to do this. Also we changed the roof, the siding and painted the house. Once again Residential Virtual Realty managed all the contract work needed. When we returned to Virginia, it was a pleasure moving back into a house that was painted, had a new roof, a new furnace and new siding. The best thing, it was all done right. What a sense of relief it was to have had Harley managing all the details. I can summarize my satisfaction with Harland Stine at Residential Virtual Realty in one word: Trust. When you are giving the keys to your home to someone to manage it, you need to ensure that everything will be done right.
