Hi Everyone! Just want to say how wonderful Rainbow Chef's catered my wedding! Wonderful 5 star chef Matt Legaspi did an amazing job providing a 4 course meal, and serving our cake, luxuriously spoiling us with his wonderful skills, professionalism and creativity. He was on time and worked my kitchen into a professional restaurant! We were thrilled with the outcome of our event and plan to use Rainbow Chefs for our future events.

We did a cooking course with the Rainbow Chefs in 2021 and still haven't received the recipes. They stopped responding to my text/emails once the course was over. Very questionable communication from the Rainbow Chefs - 7/4/2022

Update-
After three painful weeks, I have finally received the e-recipes that were promised to us in August, 2021. During the past three weeks, Lana from Rainbow chefs kept on promising that she will send the recipes to me without providing a date. I had to follow up with her multiples time to get an update. Along the way Lana kept on saying that Rainbow chefs went above and beyond to create the recipes for our camp and the recipes are supposed to be an "extra effort" for our camp, however, this was actually advertised to us before we signed the contract. I felt really annoyed that one dared to describe something that's 11 months late as "extra effort".

In addition, the first version I received was full of typos/formatting errors and missing TWO dishes. Lana told me those were missing because she lost the recipe files--but according to her that everything was custom made for our camp so she had to write the recipes from scratch? If she had the "files" all this time why not just send to me?

To conclude, lots of inconsistent information from Rainbow chefs. I would advise everyone to think twice before choosing to work with Rainbow chefs. - 7/25/2022

I have more than a decade of experience in education and curriculum development. I advised briefly for the curriculum of Rainbow Chefs Academy.

I was disappointed by the lack of depth in the nutrition curriculum. Many courses had no connected nutritional learning objectives. Rather, they had loosely-tied math, ELA and science objectives that weren't strongly covered in the lessons. The lessons were lacking in pedagogical quality. They appeared to be recipes with fun facts.

The communication by the director, Lana, was frustrating. She gave unspecific, unclear directions for what she wanted me to develop. The feedback and questions I gave were often left asked and unanswered. Agreeing upon and collecting payment was also rather difficult.

From my short time being involved with RCA the lack of organization and communication was unfortunately pretty clear. I wish it the best of luck moving forward but it just isn't there yet.

We had my niece's birthday party and it was a well received idea with all the children (boys and girls). They were engaged and able to participate in making the food that they were going to eat. At the end of the cooking class I overheard some of the children say they wanted to make the recipe at home! Lana said she would email all the parents the recipe so they could do just that. I would recommend Lana and her team to anyone who wants a novel idea and an interactive event that includes healthy food items.

Most professional company I have ever worked with, I requested the party within a short notice and they moved mountains to make it happen! As a parent, was amazed with their customer service, friendliness and subject matter expertise.

All the guests loved the experience and we literally fought to have the last piece of their yummy chocolate cup cake! I have used party entertainers for years, but without a doubt they were one of the very best!

Rainbow Chefs hosted a birthday party for our daughter's friend. My kids loved the activities. Very well planned out, professionally done, creating a very positive and festive atmosphere for the celebration. Highly recommend!
