Positive: Nothing... Negative: This place is, at best, a 2 star hotel. It's RIGHT ON the highway. The door lock wouldn't unlock without at least four tries (and a lot of swearing). There's more, but no room of it on this form.

This property is beginning to show its age but still delivers a good stay. All room controls and equipment still worked ok, beds were comfortable, neighborhood was quiet at night in the back. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was modest and best described as "continental". WiFi was good.||The hotel is not on the beach, nor did it appear to have beach access. It is located directly on the coast highway (Cabrillo Highway) and is challenging to get out of due to heavy traffic on that road (2 lane highway). Overall overpriced for what you get.

I am very satisfied with this place. I only recommend putting a platform like Netflix on your televisions, since there are very few entertainment channels. For the rest, everything is excellent.

Our bed was the highlight. Very comfy! When we made our reservation we paid extra for a room with a jacuzzi bathtub for my Fibro, and upon arrival were very disappointed that the jets were black and needed cleaning as well as the grout on the floors in the bathroom and in front of the sink area. The carpets were in need of cleaning as well. Unacceptable and disgusting to me for the price of the room, so i wouldn’t recommend. I called the front desk and a maid was sent to clean the jets. I tipped her a ten, and then tried four times to fill the tub, but black debris came out of the pipes every time. I finally gave up. I left the yellowish water with the black debris in the tub for them to see, but haven’t heard from mgmt. I also recommend keeping the parking lot and debris cleaned up near the Room 207 stairwell, as it is on the opposite side of the building, as it just leaves a bad impression.

Took my dogs to the ocean for 1st time.This place accepting pets.Right along the beach/coast. Nice rooms.Will visit this place again.

Hotel overall is decent. Good location. However if you are looking for convenience of have breakfast this is not the place to stay. They don't have even simple bread to toast. No proteins, sausages/eggs as other quality inns would provide. Waffle maker was there but no spray can so you have to burn your waffle. No person as breakfast attendant. Milk flask was empty, regular coffee flask was empty. such careless.|The front desk agent was never to be seen in the breakfast hours. When you say hello he popped up from back office with iPods not happy to get interrupted. Overall poorly/cheaply managed. Hotel has lot of potential to be a great place to stay with some attention.

What you would expect for a chain operation that is well run. In room refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Love that we can over order our outside meals and maybe have pizza for breakfast. On Hwy so you can only exit going south and have to u-turn to go north.
