If I could give 6 stars, I would. Right from the get go, you feel welcomed by the staff.
Not only everyone is extremely friendly and give amazing advices when it comes to products and skating itself - But God, THE STEVEN. The One. The Only. Miracle worker, pulling off impossible (getting new skates just in two days!), but everything leading up to it, like exact measuring, explaining what's best for you (and you can tell it's coming from the expert in his field), patiently answering even the dumbest questions ; to even helping you tie the laces, molding and let me not forget - SHARPENING.
DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT get your skates sharpened anywhere else than with Steven. Your feet will thank you and you'll most likely get +100 to skating skill.

Guess what - it doesn't even end here. This guy takes time to come and watch you skate and adjust manually your skates and blades based on how you skate, what feels off, as well as your own feedback.
From very first step into the store until you getting on ice and skating your heart out - Pro Stride Hockey Shop has your back.

Great service. Extremely knowledgable and cordial. Love this place. Ask for Jeff if you need help finding the right skates. They found the right skates for my foot size and shape, cooked the skate to better form to my foot, put new blades on, and sharpened them to my specs. Best skate shop/equipment shop in LA. Highly recommend this place.

Steven at Pro Stride was absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I used to compete as a kid and it had been years since I figure skated and didn't know the first thing about the new revolution of skates, but I desperately needed a good pair and he was beyond informative of every shoe and blade. He was so helpful in finding the perfect skate for me & boy did he find the perfect Figures skates for me. As soon as I put them on I felt so giddy. They didn't hurt and compared to my old skates it was a world of a difference in the best way possible. His insight into which shoe would be best for my skill level was so comforting and knowing that I was in such great hands. I highly recommend this shop & go to STEVEN. You won't regret it!!!

Amy was a big help getting my daughter sized for figure skating. She measured her foot, molded them to her size and gave her many tips for caring for them. We came back a few weeks later now to get me sized for ice skates. She did the same process and sharpened the blades and we are both very happy. They sharpen the blades here when needed later also. We will definitely be coming back for any of our ice skating needs.

Best pro shop ever for ice skates and equipment. Craig was the best at customer service! We called on inquiring about hockey skates for my son. He was thinking of closing early but stayed open until we got there. He helped my son with his first pair of hockey skates and spent a good amount of time fitting the skates to his foot measurements as the right was larger than the other. He also helped my daughter with her figure skates by heat molding them to the correct size even though she purchased them at a different pro shop and they were too small fitting. In addition he was able to help not only us, but the other customers that came in purchasing equipment. This place is fantastic and look for Craig as he is super knowledgeable and will help you get the right skates until you are happy.

The short version: This place has never once failed me. I trust them with all things ice skating.

The nitty gritty: The people here seriously know their stuff. They have the most modern hockey skate sharpening equipment I've seen and both their figure and hockey retail section is incredible. They will order you anything they don't have (they have a lot). All of the staff are knowledgeable. I work with Steven who is Pro Strides figure skating specialist and he's been able to make projects that are usually impossible happen same day. Just recently I tried to mount new blades to my figure skates. They ended up being too long for the boot. Steven came to the rescue and asked permission to perform a completely custom cut and reshape of the blade mount to fit perfectly to my boot. This is just one of the ways that Pro Stride and its epic crew have been able to help me in ways that I doubt any other company could. These folks are legit.

If you have any questions about a proper fit for your hockey skates or figure skates, this is the place to go. Craig and Kendal are amazing at finding a proper fit, they’re also highly skilled at sharpening skates. Costumer service at Pro Stride is top notch to say the least.
