So we decided to try this pizza place since we’ve never been here. You can choose from a super thin (tortilla) crust or a thicker one. We got the thicker crust and you can get as many toppings as you want so we got half vegetables and the other half chicken. We also made our own salad. We liked that they have cucumber drink as well as others but a bit too sweet for my taste. The wait time was not long at all and the pizza tasted great. What we did enjoy was not feeling stuffed after eating. The staff were super helpful and attentive. The cashier even allowed me to pay for some cookies before we left instead of waiting in line.

So so food. Felt like corner-cutting operations.
It's been a couple years since I ate at the Cerritos location which was a good experience. The pizzas felt truly custom made to order and there was a variety of fresh ingredients to choose from. The atmosphere felt fun fast casual.
This location was a disappointing experience. It felt like a slightly nicer Subway.
The menu was confusing. There was a value meal section which didn't jive with the fast casual category I thought Pieology was striving for.
The number of ingredients felt limited. There is a craft your own salad alternative to pizza which one should skip altogether. It's too small for a satisfying meal compared to the pizza. I had a bad feeling as I watched the server painstakingly add the toppings to my salad, as if he was counting every mushroom and red pepper pieces. I thought they must have been trained to be very sparing on portions.
The biggest disappointment was the raspberry "vinaigrette". It looked like candy syrup or cough syrup, not a vinaigrette. I thought maybe it was just the appearance but nope. It ruined my salad. They really should stop serving this immediately.
The pizza was ok. The best thing about it was the fresh crust. One interesting thing (not in a good way) was the sauce options. I wondered why they had something called the "red" sauce. Why isn't it called "tomato" sauce like at other pizzerias? I mean it is made from tomatoes, right? Well one bite of the pizza answered my curiosity. It tasted more "red" than tomato. In fact, my taste buds didn't detect tomato. So what was it?
I am shy about trying new eateries because I am afraid of bad experiences. They are more memorable than good ones. I'm going to remember this for a while.

Usually have a nice time here, staff is nice and always cook the pizzas to perfection. Only had it over cooked once but it wasn't bad either!

I'm cutting a little slack for this review because it sounded like they had a lot of new hires tonight.

Could have been a busy night, but when we entered, we didn't get a friendly hello. Not only that, but the speed they we're working on orders was a bit slow.

After we returned home and ate our pizza's. It was nothing less than your average pizza, although I wouldn't recommend the Calzone, as much.

Personal Addendum : Bring back Deep Dish for a weekend special.

This was the first time I had been to Pieology in a long time. I'm glad I did because I had forgotten how good their pieces are and I ordered a salad and it was just as great. When I picked up my order, the gal behind the countertop was very professional and kindly placed my stuff in a bag for me then said thank you for stopping by.

I am recently diagnosed with Celiac disease and this was my first time having pizza. I have eaten here previously, but never had to have the gluten-free/cauliflower dough. I asked the employee if the gluten-free dough was good, as I have yet to have a gluten-free bread that was any good. She said she hadn't had the gluten-free crust, but that the cauliflower crust was pretty good. I took her word for it and requested it. She was very careful about changing her gloves and using separate utensils with the garlic butter and sauce and getting a screen so there was no contamination in the oven. The pizza was great despite the $4 extra for the dough.

Haven't had Pieology in a while, I mean years! It didn't disappoint because it was just as delicious as I remember it! All the toppings you want on a thin crust for under $11. I went with garlic butter, marinara, extra mozzarella, pepperoni, buffalo chicken, sausage (No Diddy), jalapenos, pineapple, olives, with barbecue sausage drizzled at the end! Chef's kiss!

I love their cauliflower crust but most of all I love my own unique pizza creations. The staff are always very, very patient, friendly and helpful. Patience is important since I get a pizza with just about everything on it. No matter how many items I choose they always make it exactly as I wish and it is wonderfully delicious.
