This is probably one of the best rec centers I have ever been too. An indoor track for walking and running is great when it’s hot or cold outside. The natatorium is clean and great for lap swims or just open pool swimming. And the gym is top tier, everything is new and noticing is missing or broken, so many weights and machines to complete a number of different workouts. I would highly recommend this for anyone.

We moved here a month ago and I immediately started looking for a gym with child care. My daughter is 1 and has never been with anyone alone besides my husband and mom, so I was nervous. We did the 7 days for $7 trial at first, but of course she got sick after the 2 day. Then we did the 30 days for $30. I wanted to be sure she could hang in the childcare before I purchased a membership. We started off at 20 minutes and slowly built up by 5-10 minutes and are now at an hour and a half and she LOVES it there. Half the time she doesn’t seem to want to leave. Everyone that works in there seems to truly love children. I love fitness and have always been active, but my fitness has been short 15-20 minute spurts since she’s been born. Pearland Rec has given me my fitness
back, along with peace of kind through out my workout that my daughter is being treated right and is safe and they’ll call me if they need anything. As for the facility, the gym is small but has everything I could need and I can’t wait for the pools to open back up for fitness and recreation purposes. This is the best money I’ve spent since I’ve been here.

I love this Recreation Center and natatorium! It wasn't here 20 years ago when I lived in Pearland. But even though I've moved across to the other side of I-45 7 miles away, I love coming here and it's really helping me to get more exercise. It's sad that we don't have things like this in Houston, but I deeply appreciate the Pearland City system for offering this to its residents and making it available to those of us who have no other options!! Thank you

Pool is always close to public its always occupied by its swim team. From 8a-11a and 2p-8p Swim lap diving block is not also allowed to use by public although its there. But somehow they dont want it use due to their insurance issue.

I'd give the pool less than 1 star. Why? It's never open to the public. They won't put out a calendar like they used to because it's embarrassing for them. It's not really a public pool because they host so many events that it leaves close to ZERO time for the actual pool paid by our tax dollars. Folks are canceling their memberships because it's always closed. This weekend closed all day Saturday and Sunday? When is it not closed, that is a better question.

This facility opens at 5 and closes at 9. Has showers with hot water. Plenty of free parking and has a handicap access. Has zero depth warmup pool for kids and learners. Expert or beginner, for as long as it stays open there is always a lifeguard on duty. The membership is cheap, i got for 3 in my family for only $46 a month. This price is for swimming pool only. Its double that if you want to include the whole recreation center.

The pool is fine but the temperature indoors is very humid. If you're in the water you'll be fine but if you're here to watch a swim lesson or wait for a friend you'll suffocate thanks to the humidity. 🙃
