Firstly, let me begin my review by stating that this is a top-tier shop. I was looking to do some diving in the Gulf and had heard that this shop was the best in the area for diving in and around Panama City. I booked a charter through the website (easy to do) and was even able to add on an SDI Deep Diver Course to the charter. Communication with Damon Carter, my instructor, was easy and demonstrated that this shop cares about customers, new and returning. The charter boat is spacious and fast and even has heat for cold/windy days. Having been to many dive shops across several countries, it was clear to me that these guys easily distinguish themselves as professionals who care about your safety. Damon, Ben, and Captain Josh were awesome! See you folks again soon!

Panama City Diving has been an incredible group to dive with. I’ve done 12 dives with them so far and hope to do many more. Their crew and staff are friendly and helpful and offer a level of experience, safety and excellence that Any diver first time or experienced can truly appreciate.

Panama City Diving is officially our only go-to dive shop in PCB! Amazing people, awesome experience!!! We especially appreciate our instructor for the day, Baylee—she’s such a wonderful person, very knowledgeable and we enjoyed her company a lot!! My only regret was not doing my first scuba with them!! Easily 11/10!

I did the Scuba Diving Open Water course, and I had a great experience!

My instructor, Damon Carter, made me feel more comfortable as the teaching process went by. He is clear in everything he explains, he is patient and kind, and more important, he makes you feel safe in case you're still nervous about it.

In my case, I had had the experience of getting certified in two different countries and all they did was to scare me and make me feel like I didn't have the skills that it takes; however, the reality is that they weren't doing a good job as instructors. This time, thanks to my now favorite instructor, I was able to accomplish the calm and self-confidence that I was missing to really enjoy the diving adventure.

The staff in the shop is friendly and nice, and I deeply appreciate that they honor the price after I got in the program at the end of last year but didn't finish it until a month ago.
I do recommend this place and their dive courses; they certainly do a great job!

Had a great experience diving with PCD this weekend. We rented tanks from the shop for some shore dives on our own and then did the inland dive boat tour on Sunday. Dive shop is really nice, everyone was very helpful, and as full set of gear you might need.

We dove on the Narcosis with captain Mayday and DM Derrick, and Dove the USS Strength and one of the nearby bridge spans. We had a full boat but they did a great job of efficiently getting people in and out of the water. They used a weighted boat line along the side of the boat that made it really easy to get in and connect with your buddy and/or use for your safety stop.

Overall top notch operation and would definitely recommend them.

The Panama City Diving staff have been amazing.

I’ve been on several boat trips with them. All have been excellent and well run. I am currently a side mount diver and they are able to cater to both Tec and Rec divers. Some things I can appreciate are they allow spearing and verify every time what species you are after and if you know your regs and rules and then they educate if you are deficient on something.

My Girlfriend recently did her nitrox with them which was priced great and taught well. They help you learn your computer and how it works.

Id also like to say been has been amazing for spearing eduction as well as very generous during trips. we went on a charter and my GF forgot her booties and Ben when without so she wouldn’t be cold.

Cant say enough great things about this shop. Will continue to dive them!

A good dive trip to the Deep STIM aboard Steel Slinger. The boat was comfortable for the ride out and back, with plenty of shade and seating for the long ride. Dive master Ben, was very friendly and helpful the whole trip. My fin strap snapped as I was about to enter the water and the crew was able to help me out with a spare strap right away, preventing me from missing my dive.
