Just as amazing as I remembered it. Visited this zoo years ago and again just recently. The zoo is clean and full of beautiful animals to learn about. We arrived when it first opened for the day and the crowds were nice and low until about midday. Yes some animals were sleeping but with some patience, we were able to go back and see them awake. It’s safe to say my 7 year old was mind blown. The zoo keepers were very knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The Zoo’s holiday lights walk was an amazing experience! I took my girlfriend, and we had a fantastic time strolling through the beautifully lit paths. The light displays were absolutely magical and created such a festive atmosphere. While most of the animals were asleep, we were lucky to catch glimpses of some wildlife, which added an extra touch to the evening. I’d highly recommend making a full day of it if you can—explore the zoo during the day and stay for the lights at night. This is a must-visit holiday event!

Great place to wonder and explore love the set up and "water park" area in the middle of the different "lands" Kids seem to have a lot of fun here. I enjoy the restaurant being on the water and sometimes you can catch a show. Better to go on warmer days since most of the animals are not used to the cold.

My wife and I were visiting the area from New England. In the 70s in January so we were walking around in the sun in shirts and t-shirts, but there were very few people there (literally saw more employees than visitors). It is a smaller zoo that can easily be done in about 3 hours, but it is a very clean park, laid out nicely and has a decent selection of animals. We also added the capybara experience and enjoyed it. We'll definitely be going back. Bonus tip - the chicken tenders at the snack bar were awesome!

I spent my Saturday at Palm Beach Zoo and I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did. As someone who isn’t exactly an "animal person", I was surprised at how fun it was to watch these creatures do their thing in their little ecosystems. Some were majestic - like the flamingos, some were a little goofy - the sloths, all of them seemed mostly uninterested in posing for my photos.

There was plenty to see, and after walking the whole property I was certain I reached my 10,000 steps for the day. Thankfully, there were some cute little gift shops along the way - adorable magnets, quirky shot glasses, the usual suspects. Oh, and a little waterfront restaurant if you wanted to grab a snack.

The Palm Beach Zoo is a solid pick for literally anyone - families, couples, solo explorers. We went on a Saturday afternoon, bracing for chaos, but the crowds were surprisingly sparse. My only dilemma? Dropping six dollars on a bottle of water. Nonetheless, I love Palm Beach Zoo and would like to visit again.

The Palm Beach Zoo is a nice smaller zoo and reasonably priced. It's a good place for kids and people who struggle to walk a lot. The walking paths are fairly flat and the few places that have stairs are accompanied by handicap-accessible ramps. The tiger exhibit is currently under renovation. The employee at the tortuous exhibit was very friendly and informative. I would definitely go again.

This zoo was one of the BEST zoo experiences I have had in my life! The enclosures appeared to be humane but were also lush and beautiful. The zoo isn't too big or too small. It was the PERFECT size. I did go in early spring, so the weather was ideal, and humidity was low. That helped, too. We came across Matt, an employee, and he was so informative. His knowledge convinced me to really see the beauty in alligators. If you come across Matt, partake in his willingness to share his knowledge.....a real treat. All the staff we came across went above and beyond. And last but not least, a place with both capybara AND axolotl was a dream come true for my son.

We've been here multiple times but this was our first time back in a few years. There was a little disappointment upon returning because the entrance fee has gone up quite a bit which isn't unexpected but more than anticipated. (No I did not do my research as far as admission fees prior to driving up there and I should have) but if I did, we probably wouldn't have come and we would have missed out on all the awesome animals.

It's definitely a well organized zoo and clean. Lots of beautiful animals to see.

Overall I would just recommend being prepared to spend money there.

If you're looking for a fun day trip, it's a nice zoo to visit.
