DJ Johnny was the perfect DJ and emcee throughout our day. During the reception he was engaging, charismatic, and knew exactly how to keep the energy up throughout the night. He did an incredible job of reading the crowd and seamlessly transitioning between different parts of the night, making sure everything ran on time and smoothly.

Once the ceremony and dinner were finished, we flowed into open dance and it exceeded all of our expectations. Johnny perfectly understood the vibe we were going for from our previous planning calls and sample playlists we prepared. He struck a perfect balance of genres from what we provided and kept the dance floor full all night long.

When we originally met with Pacific Entertainment, Bryan told us that he would dj our wedding. However, a month or so before he had a conflict and we were assigned Dj Conor. We couldn't have been more happy with Dj Conor - he was coming out of a surfing injury and made sure that we were taken care of while he was recovering himself. He met with us prior to our wedding and was able to get a feel for what kind of music we liked. We had specific timing for music and he was able to execute them exactly how we imagined.

We first heard about Bryan from our friends who had him DJ at their wedding and we are so glad we picked him for our wedding! He has great energy and knows how to keep guests engaged. He knows when to step in and help keep the day moving, but also when to sit back and let people do their thing. He was clearly very comfortable in the venue and knew exactly where to set up all his equipment and all of his audio equipment looked and sounded great. I sent him the timeline for the day and he was ready for every stage. He responds better to text than email, but you can be sure that he will be ready and won’t have any hiccups. The biggest thing we noticed about Bryan was that he just seems to really like his job and was genuinely having a great time which was a joy to be around. Thanks again Bryan!

We chose Pacific Entertainment from the preferred vendors list for our venue, and also based on a recommendation from our photographer. Working with the team was very easy with an online portal to fill in all necessary information and important requests for our big day. We had a call with our DJ, Conor, a couple weeks before the wedding to ensure we had everything dialed in. Conor was super attentive to our asks and had everything tee’d up and flowing seamlessly the day of the wedding. He managed our ceremony, cocktail hour and dancing - the entire day from start to finish. As two people who love music and dancing, we were extremely happy with Conor. He kept us out on the dance floor all night with an amazing playlist. We would definitely recommend Pacific and Conor!

I was debating whether I should write a review because this company, specifically Bryan, was recommended to me by many people. However, we were very disappointed with Pacific Entertainment's performance at our wedding. I am the type of bride that researched extensively to find the right vendors for our wedding. Everyone kept recommending Bryan from Pacific Entertainment, so we felt confident choosing them. However, we learned that Bryan was not available for our wedding date so we got assigned Jimmy. I initially was worried about this because every recommendation I got from people was for Bryan, not anyone else from his crew. However, I thought to myself that anyone on his team would be just as good. Now, I wish we had gone with another company.

We took a lot of time on the Pacific Entertainment client portal requesting certain music that we wanted. We were very specific and intentional about what kind of music we wanted at our wedding. We even had a phone meeting with Jimmy and told him that it was important he respected the type of music we requested because we had a mix of cultures at our wedding. My family traveled all the way from Argentina to attend my wedding. Therefore, I wanted to honor them and play Latin American music. I made sure to let Jimmy know that we wanted him to play that type of music, yet on the wedding day, he only played "suavemente". I understand that it is not realistic for a Dj to play all of the songs you request, however, they should at least stick to the genre and vibe you are asking for.

Not only did Jimmy not play the music we requested, he also played a song we specifically told him not to play. He let guests request songs when we specifically told him not to do and this is how this song we didn't want to be played was played. He kept playing random songs we did not request. We also requested Rap and Hip Hop but he only played a few of those so we had to go up to him and ask him to play some songs. My guests told me they felt like they had to request songs because the Dj was not good. I spoke with family members and they said the DJ did not know how to make the party fun, it was rather boring. These family members helped pay for the wedding so they were also disappointed that they paid for something that they felt was not delivered. I had a lot of guests leave early in the night and I was very embarrassed because the music was so bad. I remember thinking, I cannot believe this is happening at my wedding.

I just think the Dj was not up to par with the rest of our vendors. It would have probably been different if we had Bryan Dj for us. I would not recommend Jimmy to Dj anyone's wedding. I also asked several friends and family members whether they would recommend him and they said they would not. I am sorry if that is harsh, but it is better than wasting all this money on your very special day. A day that you cannot redo. As a bride that took a whole year preparing for this wedding and looking forward to the big day where I could dance with family and friends, this is just disappointing. The reception is supposed to be the fun part of the wedding.
