This is a large gaming store in Opelika that lets you buy and rent board games and play onsite at one of the many tables.

There is also a large selection of collectible card games like magic and Pokemon as well as Warhammer 40K.

Additionally there are all kinds of snacks and alcoholic beverages to choose from if your gaming session runs long.

When I was here on Friday afternoon the gentleman who was running the store greeted me and answered all my questions, you can tell that he has a true love and passion for gaming.

This place is everything you could possibly want in a nerd dungeon. Plenty of seating for multiple table top games, standing tables with wall guards, pretty solid selection of architecture for the battlefield. There’s even couches for neurodivergents and antisocials! Incredible place I highly recommend it.

So many games to choose from. It's great to be able to come together and learn a new card/board game without having to purchase it yourself! If you find one you love, THEN buy it to have at home.

While I haven't played the group games like Magic, a competition of was starting when I was there and everyone was so excited. I wish I could have stayed to watch!

Drinks and snacks can be purchased on premise, while "real food" can be ordered to be delivered. Great place to hang out!

Great staff and a friendly environment. Nice place to hang and play some games, and table rentals include games to try out if you want. Dog friendly location with a variety of events. Snacks and beverages available at very reasonable prices. They have a good selection of games for sale and are happy to special order as well. Seriously one of my 3 favorite hangs in Opelika. Swing by for trivia night or one of their other events! Or just drop in and check out their location.

Wonderful place to sit down and have a board game. We were from out of town visiting family and Gear Gaming graciously accommodated all of us so we could all sit together. Awesome selection of games, great prices on board games, and the table rental/board game rental can't be beat. Thank you Gear Gaming for a lovely afternoon with our family! Highly recommend.
