It's a tour only access, the volunteers are sure amazing! The owner was so lovely! The animals are in great health, they are so lively and enjoy life! So much to see and hoping to volunteer with them in the future! Also I enjoyed the details that they place into the enclosers, they enrich the animals to keep the occupied! Really enjoyed it! Hope to come back again!

This is an amazing place. You can tell they really care about the animals. Our guide Tracey was awesome, loved her enthusiasm for the animals. You can tell by the way she tells their stories and her interactions with all the animals that she genuinely cares about their well-being. Plan on visiting again.

Tracey and all the volunteers at Octagon do a phenomenal job of telling each animals story and taking great care of every one of them. The grounds are well maintained and all the animals are comfortable in their enclosures. We really enjoyed our tour! Visit and donate when you can!

Absolutely amazing. Highly recommend to book your tour.
To see those exotic animals, which come to live in their now forever home, up close, is amazing and breathtaking.
If you are lucky, you can feed "Blue" the Peacock.
A big 'Thank You' to all volunteers who offer their time to not only provide the animals with a much happier live and amazing care but also by giving us a memorable tour.

Being a huge animal lover, I had never heard of Octagon. I hope everyone discovers this amazing gem! The volunteers are so polite and care so much for the animals. There are of course fences but the facility has such a comfortable, natural feeling. The animals are clearly happy and engage with the volunteers. I could go on and on. Just go! You will love it!

You have to make reservations, for your tour, which was very easy to navigate. The tour was amazing, and so informative! This was not my first time visiting, and it definitely won’t be my last! It’s wonderful to support the owner and volunteers that give their time & effort generously for these animals, and this beautiful sanctuary. They are providing a loving and safe environment for all. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, and highly recommend The Octagon Sanctuary.

We took a tour today and our guide Tracey was fabulous! She knew the stories and facts about all the animals. It was obvious that these animals are loved and so well taken care of…
The big cats were mesmerizing! Lions, tigers, ligers, a cougar! I could have watched them for hours! Especially Snow playing with her ball in the pool. We will go on the website and buy some swag to further support this animal sanctuary and we will visit again, for sure!!!
