Full Story:
When I started my moving business in 2019, I decided to use MoveitPro as my CRM. Initially, I was impressed. The system was easy to use, and the staff was friendly and supportive. However, things took a turn after my first contract ended.

Without much warning, the price of the service doubled. While I could have avoided the surprise by asking more questions upfront, I felt their lack of transparency was a red flag. Over time, I noticed a mix of features I liked and others that caused frustration. Eventually, I decided to test out other CRMs to see if MoveitPro was truly the best fit for my business.

After one of my contracts ended, I sent them an email to cancel my service. Their reply was polite but included the following:

“Thank you for reaching out! I tried calling you to discuss your cancellation but couldn’t get through. I’d like to schedule a brief call to talk about your decision and how we can improve.

Just so you’re aware, you are currently under a 12-month agreement, and any remaining balance is due if you cancel. You have 10 months left, which would be due in full. Are you available for a call tomorrow? Let me know!”

Since I was busy, I planned to call them the next morning. However, later that same night, my card was charged over $2,000 for the remaining balance without any further confirmation.

I called them immediately, explaining that I hadn’t realized the full amount would be charged upfront and that I was willing to continue using the software until the contract ended. At this point, I also discovered I had been auto-renewed into another contract, something I hadn’t authorized or been informed about. Upon doing some research, I learned this practice conflicts with Florida Statute 501.165, which regulates automatic renewals.

Despite this, when I asked for a refund and assured them I would continue using the software as agreed, they refused. Their reasoning? They claimed I might cancel my credit card and stop payment entirely.

This experience left me feeling deceived and frustrated. While I initially appreciated the software’s features, the lack of transparency, questionable billing practices, and refusal to resolve the situation fairly were dealbreakers for me.

If you’re considering MoveitPro, be cautious. Make sure you thoroughly review their contract terms and stay alert to auto-renewals. While the software itself has its merits, their approach to customer relationships and billing leaves a lot to be desired.
